[QUOTE="Texas2089"]But since when has Halo EVER been at the top graphically?siddhu33
Halo 1 and 2 both were top, for consoles graphically; at least when they both came out anyway.
I would agree with you, but "top for consoles" doesn't mean anything on this board.[QUOTE="siddhu33"][QUOTE="Texas2089"]But since when has Halo EVER been at the top graphically?Texas2089

Halo 1 was top for everything.[QUOTE="PAL360"]Difference is much less going on than the average halo match, much slower, and only 2 player co-op.Who knows....Gears2 is one of the best looking console games and has split screen coop and huge number of enemies at the same time.
MC3887
Yep, thats true and Halo also has the vehicles. Anyway, im hyping Reach to end up looking better thn Gears2.

If it does(which I think is possible), it will make epic look like a joke lol.[QUOTE="3sFan"][QUOTE="MC3887"] what is "smooth" lol 90fps?MC3887
30+ and never dipping.
The HD 4XXX series did a very good job of running crysis.Barely on high. And thats only on high settings. Very High would dip into the 20s or teens.

Custom configs that run better and look the same? I meant the x2 series.[QUOTE="siddhu33"][QUOTE="Texas2089"]But since when has Halo EVER been at the top graphically?MGS4_GOAT

No they weren't. Halo 1 was graphics king PERIOD. Halo 2 was up there, bested by Doom, riddick, and half-life 2.[QUOTE="3sFan"][QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"]Yeh, and any other console game for that matter.MC3887
Nope Heavy Rain, Alan Wake, Gran Turismo 5, etc. I doubt even my HD5850 will run Crysis 2 on medium smoothly.
what is "smooth" lol 90fps?wtf? 90fps? anything higher than 60 is unnoticable to the human eye.
[QUOTE="GhoX"]Xbox cannot handle it with its current 360 hardware. Even PS3 cannot beat a high-end baby-grade DX11 PC graphically, what hope is there for the Xbox-exclusive Halo?MC3887PS3 really has nothing over the 360. I also meant consoles...
Umm, Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 are currently the best looking games that consoles have to offer atm.

Best looking, but most technically impressive, no. For UC2 atleast. KZ2 and GTA4 I would say are the most technically impressive so far.[QUOTE="WiiMan21"][QUOTE="MC3887"] PS3 really has nothing over the 360. I also meant consoles...MC3887

I will cut you some slack considering your new to GS. Stuff like that will get you eaten alive in SW.

Look, GTA4 is huge with a fair bit of detail, euphoria physics engine, a ton on screen vs. corridors. Also, I made a thread saying RE5 vs. UC2 technical graphics. Look it up I even stated what I said to you.[QUOTE="WiiMan21"][QUOTE="MC3887"] Best looking, but most technically impressive, no. For UC2 atleast. Look, GTA4 is huge with a fair bit of detail, euphoria physics engine, a ton on screen vs. corridors.yes but compared to some of the newer games on the PS3, it doesn't compare.
InFamous even looks better.

Infamous vs. GTA? I think GTA looks better, but still isn't infamous draw distance horrible? Doesn't use the very stressful Euphoria engine, also GTA seems even bigger with just more on screen on average. AC2 is also a very nice visually, and beats infamous graphically, IMO.lets hope they don't try to make it a graphics king, Halo is about the speed of play, if they focus too heavily on the graphics they might have to slow the game down and there may even be the dreaded framerate drops, no thanks, as long as it looks reasonable but plays a swell as other halo games i will be more than happydelta3074Agreed I am fairly good at Halo 3 and play MLG alot. Framerate drops would kill me.
[QUOTE="Texas2089"]But since when has Halo EVER been at the top graphically?siddhu33
Halo 1 and 2 both were top, for consoles graphically; at least when they both came out anyway.
That's because the Xbox was clearly more powerful than the PS2.

I will agree with you on AC2 looking better than InFamous, but it came after and they knew what they had to create to beat the competition.

IT wasn't clearly more powerful than the gamecube though and H2 was up there with other xbox titles.[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"]Yeh, and any other console game for that matter.3sFan

I would agree with you, but "top for consoles" doesn't mean anything on this board. Um... I don't ever recall a game completely being unanimously described as being the graphics king on a console, meaning it beats PC games. So, yes, Halo 1 and 2 were both graphics kings in the System Wars sense. Halo 1 was even very good looking when compared to PC titles.[QUOTE="MGS4_GOAT"][QUOTE="siddhu33"]No they weren't.
