By the way an Indie game beat Halo 4 on xbox live last year on 360,minecraft,and another Indie beat Halo 4 for Goty here Journey.

There is more games I want to play on the PS4 than there is on the X1, so no its not better. At least not for me. The one game I would maybe get on the X1 is Forza 5.

I cannot lie. I pre-ordered a Playstation 4 Killzone: Shadow Fall Bundle and am not looking forward to any launch title aside from KZ: SF. 50% of my excitement for the PS4 at launch is the mere novelty of owning it. However, I know that in the long run, it will have the better library of games because of SONY's first party developers.

Xbone definitely has the advantage in terms of exclusive launch titles. PS4 looks to have the better software support in the long term and should have the edge in multiplat performance.

Hopefully no-one is actually dumb enough to base their purchasing choice on a couple of launch games, these consoles will be around for years. Since both now charge for online play and the vast majority of titles these days are multiplats there is really no reason to own more than one next gen console.

Choose wisely.

The only reason that PS4 overheated is because it was sealed inside of that plastic case which has VERY LITTLE air flow. Considering that fact and the fact that it immediately came back on after the case was opened, I don't see how this can be used as a critique against the PS4.

Yup. The PS4 has been tested out in the field and we know it's heat-fault protection works.

Meanwhile, in XBox One-ville, 13 country launch and MS cuts shipments by 12% after announcing an upclock just months before launch.. and industry Deep Throat, CBOAT, announces there are issues.

You just can't reason with XBox cheerleaders, though. You'd think they'd jump off that bandwagon after being ditched for Kinect games and casual trash after 2009, but here they are.. Then again, they could be MS interns, too.

Don't be a idiot that falls for this crap. Sony is the king of PR lies. they are only shipping a handful of consoles to some markets and like Brazil are making them so expensive, that demand is down. This way they get the 32 countries and stroke themselves at the same time.

MS has been straight forward in this dept.

PS4's is slightly better, but both are pretty lackluster.

@FoxbatAlpha: I have said from the beginning I didn't like the form factor of the ps4. Is it beautiful? Yes, is it sleek? yes, does it look better than the xbox ones case? yes. With that being said, xbox form factor is comfortable to me in reliability, so ill go with that over the sleeker looking box, even with the modest overclocks. I bring this up because I feel that RLoBSOD Red, Line, of Blue Screen Of Death which is red line of blue screen knocking off their connectivity, knocking them from the session because of a heat showdown. Start up again cows, whereas I will be always connected on my 10 year cyclem quieter, more efficient, better cooling form factor, that I cant remember the last time I had to turn on my xbox XBO. The PS4 Nightmare has Begun...... where is neogaf? they are on suicide watch over there.

Both consoles have an underwhelming launch of games. I expected better from both of them. Sony has the first party to make a better launch titles and Microsoft has the money to throw for better launch titles. Neither of them delivered.

Indies are getting the full service treatment from MS. The future holds more and MS will deliver it to us.

All Systems Wars banter aside, I think Sony is purposefully not marketing their F2P games at launch. They're likely hoping that, at the very least, Shadowfall will win some popular acclaim and that people (such as myself) are just burnt out on the current gen hardware and ready for an upgrade.

When hundreds of thousands of these things are all over the place and people start downloading the lesser known F2P stuff, I think it will sink in that there is plenty of games to play on the PS4 despite this current penis measuring contest with launch lineups. Unlike the last generation, Sony isn't in the position of just having a small trickle of noteworthy games coming out the first year, they actually are backing up their launch with a lot. It sucks that Driveclub hurt the notion that PS4 has a weaker launch lineup rather than help it, but people need to stop fooling themselves if they think the PS4 is going to be collecting dust.

If not for just the simple fact that the PS4 is infinitely more developer friendly than the PS3 could ever hope to be, they have ensured that they can keep games coming in steadily this generation as opposed to the infamous waiting game of the PS3 era. Just my 2c..

It was going to be a PS+ title, but the PS+ version was going to be less featured than the retail version. I wouldn't put it in the F2P category just because it was behind the PSN+ paywall. Kind of a weird technicality.
