Halo, RPG :P  I can see Microsoft doing it now, trying to make some money in Japan

I can see a Halo rpg happening, but not to appeal to Japanese gamers. They already have their minds made up on the xbox, it's already proven that high profile rpgs and Halo can't change that. That said though, I'd love it if they tried making a Halo rpg. Actually, it's something I've been wanting.Halo, RPG :P  I can see Microsoft doing it now, trying to make some money in JapanVensInferno
Can you explain to me the joke :P The first two were FPS games. The last two aren't.. and its not funny. :|[QUOTE="DarkLink77"]
I'd turn Red Faction back into an FPS.
VensInferno
this is full of win. I would turn deus ex into a TPS/FPS...I did not liked the RPG elements mixed with FPS at allI'd turn RE into survival horror.

I'd take pokemon (hell even digimon) and turn it into MMO or Strategy (similar to FF:Tactics for ps1)

That's what makes the game what it is? The RPG elements are pretty light anyway. but its one of the most screwing factors for me...I mean all that leveling with your firearms...the game is ridiculously boring for like the first 6 hours or even more because you are not master with most guns...it takes like 20 seconds of standing still to aim properly...the inventory system sucks, I barely have any item or weapons yet I cant pick up anything...because the rocket gun takes a lot of space...I would throw the rocket launcher away but I wont because I use it to smash through doors...I wouldnt need to smash through doors if there would be some manual lockpicking system but there isnt because you need an item to lockpick...an item with a very limited supply... the game was just too restrictive in every aspect for meI'd turn RE into survival horror.
MrSelf-Destruct
I'd turn Banjo Kazooie back to a platformer.
Jolt_counter119
I'd turn Fable back into an RPG. MrSelf-DestructI like this thread.
I'd turn Splinter Cell into an actual stealth game.:|
If I saw your hand, I'd destroy it with high fives.I'd turn Splinter Cell into an actual stealth game.:|

[QUOTE="Microsoft1234"][QUOTE="Syk0_k03r"]Make FPS's realistic. Enough of this "run around, kill 1,000 enemy combatants and be a one man army" believe it or not, getting 100 confirmed kills in a career is legendary for the MARINE CORPSSyk0_k03r*facepalm* do you really want me to go on a rant about how real life is never good in video games if you want a game where more skill wins? I will............... Go for it, nothing is worse than a bunch of kids joining the military thinking they are master chief. Kills should be earned, isn't that just weird?
Real life
reloading within a matter of 5 secs or less of continous fire. IN videogames, all fpses would be is reloading the whole entire time. sounds fun doesn't it?
gravity and laws of physics would basically force crysis to be alot slower paced and would limit abilities in plenty of games.I'm sure more games fit this, but law of physics would completely disrupt most games nowadays.
Respawn-you don't do this at all, and I'm sure you would not want this in a game.
Dice games, Ok in real life you can't control or balance the roll of a die or dice. People believe in the law of averages but in a board game if you play there's a good chance you won't get exact dice rolls based on probability. however, games that are based off of statistics, to have more balance and strategy to them. (examples-monopoly online, catan, etc).
Sniper hits you, you're gone or immobile from the pain. In games, we promote skill by sniper becoming an instant kill only through a headshot. In any game, most snipers aren't one shot (at least balanced shooters).
Silencers...........in reality, aren't very silent. They're loud and in games they're quiet. It almost get rid of the use of silencers in games if it were realistic. If silencers are realistic, it gets rid of the whole strategic ploy to use a weapon that doesn't reveal you on radar, when in actuality you're going to blow your cover.
Multiplayer maps: developers nowadays don't know how to make great balanced symmetrical maps-but realism you're not going to have a symmetrical well balanced area that is exact on both sides. in realism, a team with higher ground usually gets a bigger advantage-would you want this in games?
These are just some off the top of my head..., realism in certain cases are good, but for the most part they should stay away from videogames.

All of that would make for a very fun gaming experience with 100's of hours of gameplay. If I wanted something fast paced, that's what racing games are forMake Skyrim an RPG, har har requisite snarky joke.
But really though? Turn-based Zelda RPG. Just a spinoff like Super Mario RPG, maybe for the 3DS or something. That would be really cool if you could recruit Gorons and Gerudo into your party, and do sidequests and stuff.
Kid Icarus Uprising into Action Adventure.OreoMilkshake
Isn't is suppossed to be like half action adventure? I dont know but I wasnt impressed by the open environments they look empty and uninspired.

Mostly rail shooting with extremely linear on foot sections it seems.[QUOTE="Jolt_counter119"][QUOTE="OreoMilkshake"]Kid Icarus Uprising into Action Adventure.OreoMilkshake

I wish Ryse was an action adventure game and not just an on rails punch n kick for Kinect.[QUOTE="Microsoft1234"][QUOTE="Syk0_k03r"] Go for it, nothing is worse than a bunch of kids joining the military thinking they are master chief. If I wanted something fast paced, that's what racing games are forstop saying that, just admit that you lost, you wouldnt like getting killed in 1 second from behind without respawning, like it happens in real life, you think that real life soldiers who get killed by sniper fire say "lol I will respawn" or that they even had an idea of what the hell happened? you are dead before you hear the shot, literally, and no respawning means starting a new game after you get killed your first time and getting killed would be done in 1 second...there is no skill that can allow you to dodge bullets that travel lightning fast. like the guy said: you want to play an fps about skill, play CS
