If it comes to PC I would get it, but not getting an X1 for a remaster collection

Milking, but I want an Uncharted Collection on PS4 so I won't bash Microsoft for doing it.

People were excited enough just for a Halo 2 remake.

"The Master Chief Collection will include remastered versions of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 and will be out this year."

"Microsoft has not given details on the project. It's still unknown who's developing, the resolution and frame rate, or if the collection will release on other platforms."

Makes sense not to sell TWO Halo's in the same year as I said last year. This is not the Halo 2 anniversary people were expecting, it's much more for presumably $60 (not enough is known), so that's a better value if that's true. It's also surprising that they would give gamers four Halos for $60, considering how much they sold Halo ODST (raising it from $40 to $60 last minute) and Halo HD Anniversary ($40 for one Halo compared to other HD $39 packs at the time) for higher prices back in the day. I'm only talking price value, I'm aware of the removal of many modes and the one button graphic switch.

I hope this is truly a $60 price point, quite a deal and good for new Xbone owners to check out old Halo games.

If they released Halo 1-4 on XB1, I don't think I could resist...

nice. the original trilogy is the best ,this means i wont buy halo ce for x360 just get this when i buy my x1. i want them all in 1080p/60fps. also i wanted uncharted collection in 1080p/60fps with uc1 given a big makeover because gameplay kind of sucks for it

Not a bad deal, but it is soured by the fact its pretty soon in the console life when nothing of note has been released yet except titanfall. At least the indies on PS4 are new games. This is why I have stopped being an early adopter.

No milking would be putting out a recent game remastered. like tomb raider, TLOU, etc. If it was just halo 4 then it would be milking. but to have all 4 games in one for 60 dollars is a great deal.

they are a scam regardless. they should have been a 10 dollar upgrades at most. not a full 60 dollars for the same game from a year ago with prettier graphics

These 'hd remasters/remakes/ports' are more annoying than Capcom on disk DLC's. Why are you releasing what was played, beaten and forgotten months/years ago? Fuk off with this crap and make games for something called next generation cuz all i've been hearing lately is "delayed this n delayed dat"

It's milkage but no one is forcing anyone to buy it. I gave my 360 to a friend a few years ago to give to her kid for Xmas and never bothered to replace it. Think I'll get it to play 4 and halo2 multi player if that's included.

whats been delayed recently? the only one i can think of was the division and i don't think anyone believed in a 2014 release. drive club got like 2-3 delays but has a set date for October and watch dogs had a delay but has gone gold and will officially release in like 2 weeks.

As someone that has not played anything outside of Halo:CE Multi, I am very very very excited for this. Playing Xbox games that I've never experienced before was my sole reason for buying the system. Thank you Microsoft.

Your opinion is your own. They thoughtfully chose to place only Halo 1 through 4 in this collection, and not re-making Reach or ODST. It's a clever way to build the anticipation for Halo 5 on a system that could use its old success-maker all over again.

This isn't The Last of Us which wasn't even a year old before Sony not having anything else and doing a PS4 resolution upgrade milking their fans as usual. Milkage would have been if they sold these Halo games separately but nope, it's in a collection. Gotta wait for E3 and more info on what this is though, but one thing for sure this isn't milkage like TLoU resolution upgrade, DriveClub having only 50 cars and it's weird paywall, and Killzone co-op.

I wonder what the multiplayer will be. Only Halo 4? Halo 3?

I would definitely grab this again. It sucks that it likely won't have ODST and Reach (ODST being excellent and all).

If this is for 60 dollars then it is an absolute steal.
