I would drop Xbox One support and delay the game 12 months. Rework textures and animation, eliminate those corridors etc. The game is “open” like Apex is open. There are chokepoints everywhere because of engine/hardware limitations. The open aspect of the gameplay is being held back by 2013’s Xbox One. And that should be unacceptable when launching a game with the importance of Halo in a console launch year. What’s worse, forcing consumers to buy a new console to play the new Halo, or having the graphics and design of your new Halo look like that? In 2020, with these crazy 4K/8K TVs with HDR and everything, that’s what they’re selling?
Remember when we all claimed the xbox one would hold the series X back and Pedro and the lemming squad claim it would not.?
Well the game doesn't even have ray tracing it will be added by patch, and the game look like an xbox one version of Halo just upscaled.
Is undeniable now the xbox one is holding back the series X.
