So are you folks gonna pick up a One to get this game, already have one (ell oh ell), or have no interest? What will Sony counter with? Why does the 3DS suck so much?

It's actually incredible how not hyped I am for Halo 5. I mean, the trailer is hardly this is it:

343i Halo games seem to be just: Take everything that defines Halo and throw it out the window. Everything down to the cinematography, the music, the gun play just isn't Halo. I want this to be as iconic and well loved (not just by avid lems) as Halo 1 through 3 were. But I just don't see it happening some how. I could be super wrong on this, I hope I am.

I'm hyped to say the least. I feel like 343 is going to knock it out of the park if the beta is anything to go by. Halo 4 had a fantastic campaign either way, so I'm sure story wise this'll be even better.

Anyone else getting a WWE vibe from the 'hero turning heel' trope? I would've bugged one of my XBone owning friends to play this one but Halo is seriously getting kind of lost and out there. I guess I still have a bad taste in my mouth from Halo 4.

Assuming 343 don't **** this up (please don't **** it up) this game be a pretty big win for Microsoft this holiday. Both PS4 and Wii U are without a flagship exclusive this Fall- and in spite of everything, Halo still has a ridiculous amount of cache.

The ball is, possibly for the last time, entirely in 343's court.

I don't really like when games have live action advertisements and this ad didn't really do anything for me but get me confuse on where the story is going. The last Halo ad that got me hyped was when Master Chief was wearing that hoody thing and the giant thing came out the sand. Is that the same game as this? I don't even know. I'm kinda skeptical with 343 but with how Bungie's last project turned out, I'll give them a chance.

I've been hyped for the game for a long while. I'm really glad though that we'll be getting it at the end of October.

I don't think they will, from how well they did on the multiplayer side of things I think this game will be extremely well executed. Halo 4 was their first game, it wasn't a bad game by any means it was just a bit different and they were learning, since then they've had ample time to take in feedback, learn from mistakes and figure out what does and does not work, try new things etc. I just have a feeling this game is going to be near perfection, I have no doubt that it's going to rival Halo/Halo 2.
