The 360 sucks, no games, pay to play, high fail rate.

I've only bought halo 3, wars, odst, reach, gears 1,2,3. Cathrine and RDR. Halo 4 will be the last game I buy for it.

An extreme failure if it only offers me 10 games I want.

I would be drowning in exclusives If I had a ps3 to go along with my wii and PC.

I knew 360 was holding back games ever since it launched. GTA4 was the biggest culprit. AdamPA1006

Graphics are unimportant. When I hear shlt like this, I know people are just trolling the 360 for the sake of it. The 360, being a cheaper console that released a year earlier, has held up incredibly well compared to the PS3. Sure, you get exclusives on the PS3 with a graphical edge, but who gives a fuk Thats superficial. Having a game without the latest AA or latest particle effects etc is NOT holding back gaming. Theres nothing on the PS3 in terms of gameplay or story etc that can't be done on the 360.

Did people act like the PS2 was holding back gaming last gen because its games couldn't produce grapphics as nice as some xbox or gamecube games? No.

Surely both consoles are holding gaming back?

Both 360 and PS3 are antique by now and holding back.

Nar 360 and PS3 are both equally weak, 360 is copping the flak in this case because Microsoft isn't doing enough first party development and he's mad.

Nobodies pushing the PS3 anymore either, just because they're making more games doesn't say anything about the consoles limitations... nothing they're doing on the PS3 is particularly ground breaking.

It just came off as blind hate, seeing as the games he mentioned are multiplat..... there's nothing stopping him from playing AC3, BL2 or Dishonoured on the 360, he's just hating.

Didn't expect this, Dude was on point on basically everything he said: vita = shaft, Kinect = joke and waste of money everything including the final rant. The guy seems to know his sh!t and understand real gamers, needs to be a reviewer here. I have already sold my 360. I had it 4 years (switched from normal to elite at some point though). Great games and experiences, but jesus christ the console has become mediocre (worse if you own gaming pc, like I do) lately. Microsoft focuses way too much on that unresponsive POS kinect.

I agree with him, but he's wrong about the PS3.. there needs to be a PS4 as well imo. PS3 and 360 are at their limits.

Marcus Beers is excellent, love him at IW and I always agree with him here in almost everything. As far as 360's graphical/technical prowess goes however, being tapped out three years ago? I disagree. But Microsoft's unwillingness to push a first party agenda - which further limits exclusive developers wanting to exploit whatever juice there's left in 360 - is indeed holding console gaming back.

Financially, it makes sense for them though...they'd rather play it safe and make money off timed DLC exclusives rather than "risking" money on first party studios the way Sony does.

A 1st party developer praising the console of the company he belongs to; that's a glaring fact that I'm not ignoring...rather listen to John Carmack, a 3rd party dev who's not bound to either company, has legendary credentials and consideres the consoles to be fairly equal in terms of practical processing power.

And of course different hardware makes a game in its state on one console "impossible" to directly port to a console with an entirely different architechture. But to claim that the graphical fidelity we see in games such as GoW3 or Heavy Rain ( :lol: ) are not doable on 360 after having seen Crysis 2 and Gears of War 3 on it? Please :lol: (not to mention statements from John Carmack who works on BOTH consoles).

Also, I'm not a filthy lem, refrain from calling me that in the future.
