It's out this autumn and on the X1 and X360

Link

I'll check it out sometime in the future but I said that about the first game and still haven't played it yet

lmfao cross-gen wtf? top kek

#3 Posted by 35cent (916 posts) -

@misterpmedia: Should have been X1 only in my opinion.

#4 Posted by Muffin2020 (527 posts) -

Glad it's coming out on the 360 as well. Saves me having to buy a 720 until the Halo 5 price drop bundle.

CROSS-GEN

Another blunder.

Is there Splits Screen ?

#7 Edited by GrenadeLauncher (5109 posts) -

Another award-winning exclusive only possible using the power of Xbox One.

On the plus side, it'll almost certainly be 1080p.

#8 Posted by 35cent (916 posts) -

According to eurogamer, it includes weather effects, which should have been in the first Forza game.

Which bit? :p

#13 Edited by freedomfreak (40914 posts) -

That's good. That way I'll be able to play it.

Haven't picked up Horizon though. I should, because people say it feels a bit like PGR. Not to mention it has a similar kudos system.

You really cant blame devs either, hard to ignore the massive install bases.

The game isn't even coming out for PC. It's still an xbox exclusive.

#20 Posted by GrenadeLauncher (5109 posts) -

I guess we can cross Forza Horizon 2 off the blackboard. Is that a new record time?

#22 Posted by GrenadeLauncher (5109 posts) -

So does this mean that Forza Horizon 2 is an HD port?

#24 Edited by GrenadeLauncher (5109 posts) -

Wow, look at all this hype.

Any minute now.

Lol, Cows Gonna Cow. As for the cross gen, there are 80+ million 360's out there. No sense not to continue to support it, while delivering the best version on the One. Smart move. People said the 360 version of TF would look close to the One version, and it would outsell the One version. Neither came remotely close to being true, and owners of both consoles still enjoyed the game. Smart move by MS in my view.

#26 Posted by PinkieWinkie (1362 posts) -

Lolmultiplat.

Why even own an XBone?

Horizon's a lot of fun. It definitely fits into the PGR mold, and you should be able to get it cheap.

A year ago I would have agreed with you. Since then, every cross-gen game to date so far has sold 75% of its copies on eighth gen hardware. In light of this, why constrain your title to what will be nine year old hardware in September?

The former certainly did come true when it came to Titanfall, I should point out.

No, it means you post too much shit.

I don't like this cross gen nonsense.... let last gen DIE!!!!!!!! So we can move on.

Good, good. I'll look into it when I've finished Ride to Hell.

#34 Posted by edwardecl (2239 posts) -

Oh imagine how mush shit Sony would be getting from people if the next Gran Turismo 7 is a cross gen title... people would feel that would be holding the game back in more ways than just graphics.

Every exclusive so far on Xbox One has been pretty much either a cross gen title or a title that has been changed mid way through development to be on Xbox One. Next gen gaming really hasn't started yet with the One, unless you count Kinect Sports Rivals...

Multi-platform, nice.

I get to keep using my Xbox 360 wheel, works for me.

Cause the dev is big enough o do so and those 80+ million PS3/360 fans are not even 10 million next gen upgraded as of yet. Its too soon to stop supporting last gen, and in no way does that men the next gen version has to suffer. And TF did sell far more on the One than the 360 version. Overall I have no issue with this seeing as how the One is barely 7 months old. Now come this time 2015 I expect cross-gen will be over. But not this soon.

Is it on more than one platform? Then it's a multi-platform game. I'm glad I was able to clear that up for you.

Both platforms the game is coming out on are xbox platforms. It's an "xbox exclusive". I'm glad I was able to clear that up for you.

#40 Posted by Salt_The_Fries (8991 posts) -

I'm also surprised it's cross-gen but I'm appalled by cows' comments that suddenly it's not a game anymore.

#41 Edited by Salt_The_Fries (8991 posts) -

It's gonna steamroll your FanboyClub/DelayClub.

#42 Posted by mems_1224 (47254 posts) -

I wonder if the 360 version will be 60 fps. If so, lol Flopclub lol

#43 Posted by GrenadeLauncher (5109 posts) -

And the recriminations and damage control begins.

#44 Posted by Animal-Mother (26962 posts) -

We all know what cross gen games lead to....

#46 Posted by edwardecl (2239 posts) -

Oh it's still a game, just not a game that is as good as it could be. It's the argument PC people have been making for years that consoles have been retarding the PC games from greatness.

#47 Edited by Alucard_Prime (3035 posts) -

sweet!.....southern Europe sounds cool, but I will miss the Colorado hills...day 1 purchase, first Horizon is one of my favorite racers

#48 Posted by TwistedShade (3165 posts) -

Lol cows crap on Microsoft for apparently completely abandoning the Xbox 360 after the Xbox One launched, now Microsoft unveils a new 360 game and it's "LOL Cross-gen". You can't win with idiocy.

#50 Edited by LadyBlue (3929 posts) -

They know it's going to sell like crap if they release it on the one and only entertainment box. Smart to make it multiplatform.

Anyway, two forza games in 1 year? ouch.
