Shit man, Starfield will last me the rest of this year AT LEAST. That's not even taking into account expansion pack/s, modifications, etc.

With that said, I get it: it's a much-loved franchise, and you want it now. All I ask is you cool it with the hype and don't add to this toxic, online sense of entitlement that gamers have that we a.) need games sooner rather than later and b.) demand they be polished and complete at the same time.

Well since this Bethesda they will delay the game and will not release until 2030 that's for sure. Especially if they don't want fails like Redfall and LoadingFIeld .

That is probably outdated information since you can see that it states that Starfield is first half 2023 and it didn't make it. Also during the hearings plenty of people testified and at least two people talked about this subject and mentioned the year 2028 as the tentative release for this game also mentioning the possibility that it would be a launch title for the next XBOX console.

They're most likely in extremely early development right now. Might have character models and artwork of environments drawn out along with whiteboards of quest lines, so 2027 will be most likely the earliest when it comes to a release date. Might see a teaser trailer in 2026 though

I don't even care anymore. Bethesda has lost their touch with quality games since Fallout 4. That, 76, ESO, Starfield all garbage.

Dude, did you see this on the thread title that clearly said "Xbox Console exclusive" meaning he knows its coming to PC. TC never said Xbox exclusive just Xbox console excusive hence PC included.

Um hate to break it to you (not really) but by Sony having exclusives it indeed does take away from others, it what the word exclusive means.

Sony recent show had the exclusive next FF7R game in it, an exclusive that takes away from others, and Sony didn't even buy the dev. Care to explain to me how Sony is not taking that game away from anybody, it should be an interesting read.

As for Bethesda, well I didn't hear you complaining when Sony bought Insomniac and made their games exclusive after they made Sunset Overdrive on Xbox.

@davillain: console exclusive is dumb when It's going to be on literally every other device known to man, including android, ios, every pc, even Xbox one. It would probably come to ps5/switch too if they agreed to allow gamepass.

If xbox are launching a new console circa 2028 then I imagine they'll engineer it so that Elder scrolls 6 drops with the launch

If Starfield hasn't made you finally realize that Bethesda games just aren't that great, you are a glutton for punishment. At this point, I have given up all hope of tes6 being worth my time. Pass.

At this point, it's probably going to be a cross gen game between current gen consoles and next gen consoles.

If MS has any smarts that's the game they release their next console with. But they might end up missing the mark by a couple of years, or some other stupid thing.

It's true... I LOVED SFV on Xbox last gen. Final Fantasy 7 RE and 16 are absolute bangers on Xbox. The ZERO FPS these games run at is spectacular on Xbox. :-S

With all the criticism they've received about Starfield being incredibly outdated by almost two decades, makes me wonder if they'll do anything to ES6, or just release the only thing they've made since the early 2000's.

@hardwenzen: I honestly hope they change it as little as possible. There's certainly stuff to improve but if the trade of is yet another ass Creed open world no thanks.

They only need to get the AI to work and address how the system handles transitions between areas. Apart from that and other small stuff they should keep going Bethesda games for Bethesda fans. They already dumbed down their games enough through the years.
