wow i knew this game was going to flop hard. cows better start hiding after forza 200 cars bashing

isn't that enough for a game like this? Is not like Driveclub is a sim or anything and all the cars are exotic too.

Sounds good enough to me. It's an arcade game not a sim. It doesn't need a crazy number of cars like GT, just a few of the best cars out there modeled to perfection will do.

Fine with me. I never unlock all the cars in any Forza or GT game and I probably wont in this game either. You know car packs will be coming in the form of DLC too.

I'm not sure what the last NFS game had in it, maybe even under 50? I never felt like, god i wish i had more cars. I always prefer to have more tracks, since the locations can be stunning.

PGR4 featured 130 vehicles, including motorcycles as well as 105 tracks across 10 cities and ten types of weather!!! in 2007!!! an arcade racer!!!

Same here. 55 tracks is pretty godly if you ask me.

You can never have too many tracks IMO.

I could care less about the car count, tracks though are more important for an arcade racer, and most important is the gameplay, we'll wait and see if this will deliver. I'm mostly worried how it will control, word was Evolution and some other studio on MS's side was picking up laid off Bizarre Creations and Black Rock Studios developers... now, if they were to utilize the strengths of the Bizarre Creation staff I'd hope for their signature neo-lighting effects, and with Black Rock Studios I'd hope they can advise in their excellent drifting controls.

Same here. 55 tracks is pretty godly if you ask me.

You can never have too many tracks IMO.

It's probably around 25 tracks (5 per country) with 55 variations).

If cows are even going to talk like this was a Forza killer or had a chance against Forza.........................ROFL. All the downgrades in dynamic lighting, player count and now this. Pathetic but hey, they have a deadline to make now. Cutbacks will make the game hit the street.

Oh and for the record Forza is well over 200 cars now with all the DLC cars. Just saying.

yup cows and their excuses. personally i find all racing games boring so i could care less about forza or driveclub. But after bashing a game that got a 9 here for having only 200 cars, driveclub gets delayed for a year (was supposed to be a launch game) and only has 1/4th the cars of forza, yet its ok somehow? come on cows, you just make yourself look worse and worse everyday. Also if you buy the 50 dollar PS+ version instead of the 60 dollar retail version, you lose access to the game if your PS+ lapses. There is a thread on GAF about it.

Driveclub is an arcade racer so it doesn't need as many cars. It also has day/night and weather cycles something Failza still doesn't have after 5 attempts.

The majority of those vehicles almost never got used by anyone. Just saying.

50 cars for a racing game hasnt been acceptable to me since ps2 days. this is going to be a barebones game out of the box imo

I'll definitely be getting the PS+ version, and if the game is good, I'll upgrade.

My expectations are low, I'm expecting a very pretty arcade racer, that's it. 7.0 Gamespot review score predicted. :)

Also Forza launched with just 15 tracks, btw. 200 cars to drive around those same 15 tracks over and over :/

Too bad Forza's a lackluster AA series through and through. This looks to be AAA game with 50 AAA cars and 55 AAA tracks.

15 tracks configured 2-6 ways per track. There is tons of driving to be had in Forza. The current gen king and will hold that crown when DriveClubz comes out too.

Project Cars? That is a contender. That will be a great game. DelayClub will be another Knack.

People want 800 cars so they can keep using the same 5 or so. As long as the game is good then 50 cars is more then enough imo.
