Poll Does bias gaming media shape industry landscape? (38 votes)
My friends, on every board, not just this one, the common complaint is (X) game is popular but the game I really like is ignored. (X) game sells lots and lots. But the game you like sells so-so.
It's the usual culprits, Call Of Duty, Assassins Creed and so on.... While these games have many people who do genuinely like and enjoy them, they seem to bring a large amount of scorn.
I must say my friends, having visited the front page and seeing this.
After almost a month of daily Titanfall articles only to now have (what will be) an annual series designed around advertising the product a little demon voice inside my head says "you can put resources into this shit but you can;t even be fucking bothered creating video reviews for Total War".
This makes me think, does this level of ridiculously (ridiculous) hugely disproportionate coverage and use of resources help develop the problems mentioned above? A AAAAAAA+ mentality in which the most accessible games with the highest production values, biggest publishers, basically, wins?
t right? Just business?
