Possibly.  It depends on the amount of quality titles arrive on wiiu, and how support is handled leading up to a hypothetical console.  If wiiu recieved all the core nintendo titles, i think it could be handled in a fair manner.

If you look at the failure of the Virtual Boy--that didn't stop people from supporting the Gameboy/DS line in massive numbers.

Wii U is looking like a great secondary system. Vita's future isn't too bright outside Japan. Still I want neither system to fail especially since I think the PSP was a handheld that was at least able to steal some marketshare from Nintendo in the handheld market.

The Wii-U is actually making me feel nostalgic for Nintendo. If they'd only drop the price and introduce a sku with a harddrive with real meat, I'd be completely enticed.

I'm meh on Vita. It has the Persona 4 remake which I want, but can live without.

I want a PS Vita with 16GB or more internal memory at $200.

I want a Wii U price drop.

Maybe you're just insecure about the Vita's crappy sales and feel that everytime someone brings them up, they're trying to diss the system. And trust me, there's a lot more things we can say to diss the system.

 In 6 months the WiiU has sold more than the vita probably did in six months.

I seriously don't expect the vita to break the 10 million mark in sales unless sony starts caring about the platform.

What is considered a failure? Anyways in general...hell no.

I do wish they would stop with the bs on both, and for ninty to stop horsing around, but I would still like both systems to do well enough.
