Do you actually laugh at SW?

Gave up on trying to figure out why I really come here... then again, I often actually burst out laughing. Some of the stuff posted here is just so ridiculous absurdity doesn't even begin to describe it.

And hey, it's fun. I can't think of many other popular gaming forums that have a special place where mud-slinging and console bashing is encouraged and is an actual semi-culture.

One thing I have noticed is in almost every large thread, multiple post how they are cracking up or laughing hard at someone's opinion.

I know a lot of bullsh*t is posted here, but does anyone else other than me actually burst out laughing, at least on occasion, when reading SW?

Sometimes I laugh at the stupidity. I can't really recall when I laughed at a funny comment in SW.

Stupidity, and watching people getting destroyed in debates is highly amusing at times. Sometimes I grow tired of it and start to worry about humanity (that's when I leave SW), but for the most part it's funny.

I'm laughing right now as I type this because of this thread. Not to say its a very dumb thread but... its up there. :P

Not saying its a bad thing to make dumb threads like these though Captain. If anything my reaction to this one is the reaction that makes me stay on here haha.

Its a miserable yet addicting place where I like to read stupid things for fun and laughs and sometimes chime in to have some humility in this place for my own sake. Its a fairly warped and twisted mindset if I say so myself.

This is like a boxing ring for gamers. However, if you appeal to the better nature of individuals here you may be surprised how helpful people can be. Granted, some people here are just proud of being argumentive for the sake of it but there are some who provide helpful insight and valid substansiated points of view.

All in all, when you consider the console war aspect, lets say the more popular 360/PS3 i think it all boiles down to their income and ability to be able to get both consoles. For instance, if you can't afford to have both then you'll want to make sure you atleast have the better console cause you spent a lot of money on it. Thus, to hear people say they have something better than you and you make the wrong choice and a lousy investment will not be and can't accepted in some people's minds. I have MS for 10 years. In the back of my head i always wanted to play sony's games but didn't have the means to until recently.

I really need to breath new life in my gaming since i'm on house arrest and thats all i do for right now. Thus, i bought a PS3 a coule days ago an now i feel llike a kid at christmas again. Sony has games that are exclusives which are different than the Xboxs. And since i got on board with the PS3 so late in the game i have a TON of AAA and AAAA games to play for dirt cheap.

Finally, there will always be something the PS3/360 that are annoying. However, BOTH consoles have great things about them that far out weigh the bad. I am in the honeymoon stage with the PS3 right now for all its exclusive and the PSN+ store. And the 360 is my old faithful dog which i'll still buy all the mulitiplates on and its exclusives. However, I basically get some mulitiplates that i'd never buy for the rental service on PSN+ which really trumps anything MS has put out with its charge of online play. I'm a very happy gamer with about 15 games in backlog now. lol. I don't even need any new games for several months i'm sure. However, i'll still get TLoU, GTAV, FC3 and maybe BO2 and maybe a couple more and i'll be set till the next gen comes around.

There are a lot of threads on SW that make me laugh like crazy.

SW is as funny as an intervention.

That said, I laughed pretty hard a couple times when Snipes did that bet.

I would like to leave SW but no one posts in the other parts of the site. This and OT are the only places, and as stupid as this place can be the community here is actually better than OT. I think GS is dying, the site traffic is getting smaller and smaller, most of the unions arn't even very active anymore (one of the main reasons I joined this site).

Sometimes I found it funny to act like a fanboy, but really I wouldn't call this a good place. I post on other sites as well such as IGN and it's far better than here. I wish PGD would be more popular and I think the TOU needs to change again, make it more balanced. Not too strict, but don't allow people to just throw insults around at others, that made the community go downhill.

All the time. I'll usually come to these forums everyday after work and just read all the stupid s***. I hardly ever post because I dont see the need to.
