Now the game might actually hit a steady 30FPS.
already does. anyone that played it knows that. a day 1 patch fixed the framrate issues that DF posted about
Actually it didn't. DF said so in a follow up. Dat placebo can be pretty strong.
Yup that awesome effect where people who don't have an xbox one and never played a game can tell me that i had framerate issues in a game i beat 4 times when I didn't. I guess you took the "blue" pill ;)
also just checked the article

There was no update. the build they tested didn't have the patch at all. I tried to check your facts, but I couldn't quite get into the place of which you pulled them out of ;)

This new piece of information regarding Dead Rising 3 Day One patch comes from EdgeOnline Review of the game: "Such compromises mean the game maintains a steady 30fps (once you’ve downloaded the day-one patch), even during busy scenes, and once you’re playing there are no loading times to interrupt your journey."
I'll never understand why cows have to make things up to bash things?
From Eurogamer Digital Foundry:
Our pre- and post-patch analysis video shows low frame-rates of around 22fps when alpha effects and a large number of enemies come into play both before and after we updated the game.

well I'll admit I was wrong in the fact that DF (which is quickly becoming nothing more then a clickbait site) said that. I watched their 3 minute video and it really only dropped when running over a ton of zombies in cars. I personally never noticed it since running over that many zombies slows down your car anyway but in an open world game that's a pretty picky thing. They do it with every game I mean here is infamous

"While the frame-rate typically stays north of 30 fps there are certainly plenty of circumstances which can knock performance into the 20s."
Personally i never noticed any drops in infamous either while playing. So cows will sit there and make stupid claims all the time but ignore the fact that both systems performance right now is far from "powerful" and yet, it doesn't make my experience any less enjoyable.
Also as far as DF being experts off the top of my head
1) they claimed there was a big difference in the 1080p AC on PS4 then the 900P on Xbox one, tey the PS4 version wasn't at 1080p, they fixed that with a day 1 patch
2) they didn't notice that KZ shadowfall didn't render native 1080p (1920 x 1080) 60FPS as advertised and that it rendered 960 x 1080
So they are certainly wrong sometimes. All they do is try to pick apart every game so fanboys give them clicks.
