Games seem to have a drastic dip in quality when they're not exclusive and aren't co-developed by SCEJ.

Hoping for a new IP from Miyazaki/Fromsoft that's exclusive to PS4 though, getting tired of the Souls series.

Can't say I'm excited. Played and finished all of them, and more of that doesn't do much for me anymore.

This one's heavily rumored to be helmed by Miyazaki now that his team is basically working on minor Bloodborne DLC projects and nothing major. So I could see the man back.

If he is, then its absolutely worth it to hop back to the souls formula and see it return to form under Miyazaki's direction.

Won't stop it from being more Souls. Yeah, sure design-wise it'll all be joyous, but I'd rather they work on something new. Bloodborne set itself apart with its combat and setting, and it still felt very, very, very much like a Souls game.

Hmm, bosses charging up, and "sword-fighting arts". A couple of interesting changes revealed already, and I just noticed how those two shots are exactly the same location with different weather or time of day. I wonder if that could be something similar to what Bloodborne did.

Next year works for me. Plenty of time to play the hell out of Bloodborne first.

I see your point. But they really won't deviate from a formula that safely earns them 3 million on each installment. Especially after being bought from a company that expects to make back their multi million dollar acquisition from profits for the next few years.

The From Software from the Armored Core/Tenchu days doesn't exist anymore. Bloodborne will probably be as far as they'll go when attempting to "branch" out from Dark Souls.

Oh yeah, I don't blame them. Plenty of other developers do this, too. Hell, just check stuff like COD and AC. I don't expect Ubi or Acti to drastically change anything if people show up every installment to pick it up.

Strange. DS2 sold almost a million units sold on PC. Seems like they don't like money...

I'll definitely play it, but I do think that they need to slow this shit down a bit. Franchise fatigue is already setting in.

I wouldn't even mind if there was no PC version. FROM Software keeps screwing us over.

1. Abysmal port of Dark Souls right down to the control prompts which showed Xbox 360 buttons even if you had a M/KB combo.

2. Unnecessary downgrade of DkS II. It couldn't run on consoles with all the fancy lighting and textures. Why did PC have to suffer as well?

3. Re-releasing the game on PC and fragmenting the user base. They're the only company I know that resold a game because DX11.

Now that they're seemingly milking the franchise (2014 Dark Souls II, 2015 Bloodborne, 2016 Dark Souls III), they can stay off PC for all I care. This franchise was great but as soon as the devs tasted money, they became like any other dev. I'll put my money elsewhere, thank you FROM.

Edit: Oh and people this game is basically what DkS II would have looked like if old-ass console hardware didn't hold everyone back from 2010-2013.

Yep, let's wait for an official announcement. As I said, if the game is for X1 and PS4, then PC version already exists.Considering that nowadays PC beats X1 in multiplat sales, it would be really stupid for From Software not to release the game on PC.

This will work well with the XBONE's crushed blacks, sub-1080p power. Cant wait to set this box beside bloodborne.

I really don't see how Dark Souls can be compared to Call of Duty. Anyway, they can keep releasing these and i will keep buying them. They are fantastic experiences that literally make it hard for me to enjoy other games, i personally cannot wait. Dark Souls made gaming fun again for me.

Too farfetched. DS1 is on PC, DS2 and DS 2: Scholar of the first were released day 1 along with console versions. MS never cared about DS frachise in the first place, because it's still quite niche and doesn't go along with MS' casual broh crowd.

Is it just or do those pics make it seem like they mixed the current Dark Souls style with the new Victorian Blooborne style? The pics kinda don't allow for much detail unfortunately.

Absolutely nothing wrong with more Souls games. I'm just not interested in it anymore. I'd prefer them to use their talents to do something else.

Indeed it's too far-fetched. I don't ever see MS and Sony negotiating together. Not to mention the most those negotiations have achieved in terms of multiplat series is timed exclusive for one platform.

They need to be adding new gameplay elements not just tweaking things. Climbable bosses, ability to grab on to ledges when you step off a cliff, new magic abilities, new multiplayer modes. So many things that could be added.

Oh, that Kotaku article would answer my previous question about the world possibly being altered, if this is true.

I like the idea of being able to create bonfires too, and it makes sense, I mean, we can create bonfires in real life. It would be good to be able to occasionally create a bonfire closer to one of the more challenging bosses, when you're just learning them all.

I own the game too. I am salty because I could be playing it on PC where it would be so much better. I don't mind console exclusives if they are done right, but BB is a technical letdown.

Love the original Dark Souls, wasn't a huge fan of Dark Souls 2 and i think the franchise is getting stale, so let's hope they add new features if this is true.

I love Soul's games just like the next person; and more Soul's games are welcome. But seriously, can I get another Tenchu game From Software (Tenchu Z didn't happen). I mean damn, we just got bloodborne, and Scholar of the first sin........ Let the dust settle for a bit between releases or else its going to become stale really fast. I don't want that to happen.

@BassMan: Its never coming to pc and it's already one of the best games of the year.

@AM-Gamer: I know it is not coming to PC. I am still waiting on the frame pacing patch. DS3 will most likely come to PC though. They just don't want to officially announce it yet.
