We have already established many times that you don't care about quality. I also don't care if your choice/preference is to play on console. None of this changes the fact that PC is better than consoles when it comes to quality. It is not about you or me, it is about comparing the platforms.
What we have established is that you're a hypocrite and can't stand gamers who play games for fun and not frames. Maybe one day you will learn how to play games properly :)
I'd be impressed if they could just make the console OS lag-free.
Baby steps.
LOL, so true. Maybe they could use the power of the cloud! LOL
Somehow Nintendo is the only one to figure out that the home screen should just be a list of games.
PS4 and X1 both clutter their UI with ads and other things that have to be loaded from servers and with spinning rust HDDs the experience is just god-awful.

I want to say that has something to do with the crappy hard drive within the systems. Windows 10 is the same way if you're booting from a HDD, so this is my guess. Hopefully they fix it next gen, because they are, indeed, ungodly slow.

Once harddrive is no longer a issue on speeds, connection is. I got a 3500/3200 ssd and frankly the only wait time i experience is stuff connecting and even on a 1gb network with a 100/100 up and down its still slow.
The only reason PC gamers have these high frame rates is because the console hardware is now very old so there's a lot of head room as PC is way above the base line console spec.
But what are PC gamers going to do when the next generation consoles release and all of a sudden they can't play multiplat games at 60fps+ because the console base line has increased massively and their hardware no longer has the head room?
Will you boycott PC until they have a suitable enough performance gap to give you over 60fps?

That is not going to happen. Any PC gamer that really cares about quality is always going to have substantially better hardware than the consoles. If it is not already better at the time of the console launch, they can upgrade.

Simply put, I'll just upgrade the GPU and call it a day. With Consoles, you gotta upgrade the whole machine, PC is flexible to upgrade whenever the player is ready to.
@davillain-: but you'll also need to eventually upgrade the graphics card in addition to the cpu, and upgrade the ram, and probably need a better motherboard down the road.
PC is better but is always more expensive than just buying a new box once a gen.

You get what you pay for. A console usually costs $500 or less. You can't expect much when you are spending that amount.
For real you are a comparing a gtx 780 with the Xbox one and ps4? 7770 and 7850 how they perform today?
The 780 gtx was released before the consoles, and it almost keeps up with the Xbox One X, and can still run games at 60 fps. My point was that a video card released before the consoles can easily span the total life of the console, whereas that dumbass up there thinks that a video card will be obsolete when the new consoles come out.

With FarCry 5, Gigabyte RX 570 beats "NV GTX 780 Ti". Your "GTX 780" is a lesser GPU when compared to "GTX 780 Ti".

GTX 780 Ti is a POS. It's a good thing I bought MSI Gaming X R9-290X instead!
@pyro1245: you are definitely right about the ps4 UI. I hate waiting for all those crappy apps to load in the UI when I just want to play a game I own. Half the time I forget what I was doing and end up watching Netflix. I like the Switch UI where it loads immediately and doesn’t need internet to load any of it. Boom! Games! Immediately! Ps4 feels more like an Amazon Firestick to me in both speed and clutter.
