Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

And from my understanding is the fact that Black Goku will be in the game and since I haven't even started watching Dragon Ball Super, I hope to learn more about him so I'm more excited to play Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 because of that.

@zassimick: Yo Zass, for my next hype game, I like to do Resident Evil 7: Biohazard hype thread cause I'm totally looking forward to playing the next big Capcom game and the game releases January 24, so I'll have it up 5 days early. Also if it's okay with you, I also like to put in Resident Evil Movie as well since that too releases January 27 and it's the final RE movie so I figure we can spice things up a bit for the RE week for both the game and movie at the same time :)

I hope a hardcore Cow steps up to the plate and requests to make an EPIC The Last Guardian Hype Thread.

Missed a few big releases. I think I'll try to make a small hype thread for some of these games moving forward--or I'll make a minimalist hype thread template to help people go forward. You know what? I'll do just that. ^_^

Actually, I'm in the proccess of working on TLG hype thread. I'm not gonna go out big, it'll be another mini hype thread and I wanted to see what the PS4 owners thinks of TLG, will be buy it day one or not. I'm not even sure if I want to buy it day one but if I do get a lot of praises and everyone thinks it'll be worth it, then I'll buy it.

And as a Manticore, I want to play something cool and also, the mini hype thread will be release December 1st (Thursday) and the game releases December 6th.

A new addition to the things to keep in mind about creating hype threads:

You will be notified when your hype thread is drawing near. You are expected to post whether or not you plan to create the hype thread. If you do not respond within a week of the game's release, the thread may move onto the next person.

This "rule" is really to combat the users who claim a game but then are away from System Wars upon release. I have noticed an uptick in this happening which could be a shame for big releases, so let's just make sure to check in when notified. :D

Also: @cainetao11 & @khoofia_pika, you both still have some time but I wanted to bring attention to your hype threads coming up.

Since that never happened and it was a resident LEMMING that stepped up and made TLG Hype thread, and here we are 10 days from Nioh release and still no Cows have the stones to make a Hype thread I am requesting it @zassimick

I have a suggestion: no more "I hype this game a 7/10, but my personal hype is 10/10 because my mangina reasons, blah blah"

I call myself out first on this because I'm old enough to be in Man-O-Pause. But fuk off. In a hype thread you either lay your cards on the table or GTFO bitches. This forum is full of protecting their sensitive butthole bitches these days.

@cainetao11: Part of the stating that "I hype the game X but I think it will be a Y" stems from the old metagame. You weren't guessing what you think the game will end up being, you're trying to play the minds of the ever-fluctuating Gamespot reviewers, and the industry as a whole. Predicting how their taste and insight falls in line with what the developers and publishers have shown versus what the game truly ends up being by the end.

So I find Deus Ex dull, despite that, I wouldn't hype it a 6/10 because I'm trying to correctly guess what Gamespot will give it, so I'll go with an 8/10.

There are exceptions to this, like Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker which was robbed of its 10/10.

That's just how it used to work. How it is now? Well I assume many are still operating under this mentality.

@zassimick: Btw, could you bring back your sig creation thread?

@charizard1605: I've wanted to. Progress would be slow if I do. I think there are one or two projects actually that I haven't been able to get to because of life and work, though I need to get to them. :P

Much like the SWA's, it was difficult to find motivation to do sigs sometimes when the user would disappear, or when the users decide to not adorn the sig. I get it, not every sig is a home run or what you want, and that's okay to tell me, I can take a little abuse, but to put in the time to have it ignored... It didn't happen often, but a few times over 40 sigs wears down when you could be spending that time doing other stuff.

On topic: Just a heads up @khoofia_pika and @charizard1605, you've got some hype threads coming up in the next month. Wee! And anyone know what happened to user Chozofication? He's got the NiER one but I can't find his profile to tag him.

@zassimick: Ahhh, that's fair. I just wanted a sig to commemorate my newest waifu, the new Zelda, but it's alright if you're over making sigs lol
