Dude.... wth kind of anime is that in your sig ( is that even legal on here? )?
Fawlcon_Pawnch
LMAO :lol::lol::lol::lol:
Its Galaxy, it has this effect on chicks
^^ Certainly, chicks digg the Wii(yes, I'm serious).
And I see you're liking my sig. :P I don't know from which anime they are(I don't watch any except from Death Note and DBZ), I just found it in some guy's sig in another forum, and no I wasn't browsing for "stuff", I don't like animated porn but this is just too over the top and hilarious.
No, The wii dosn't support the advanced DX8 Lighting and shader techniques that the origianl Xbox did.Marka1700
holy crap, maybe one of the first people that said an intelligent no. *claps*

Thats completely irrelevant, i'm not an expert but if a console isnt DX based it doesnt mean it cant reproduce or even surpass the graphics of an DX based system. Wii has a diferent API more than capable of doing what the Xbox did in shaders and in lighting.
They have different APIs, thats all

Actually, it can. However the Xbox had these pre-programmed, so it was MUCH more easier to implement them in any game.

You said emulate it perfectly. If wii is capapble of dilivering these effects on the same scale it has not even come close to showing it yet. It has used a few things that dilivered a similar effects in Mario galaxy, but that is only in in simple envionments. Heck, it's a mile of matching games like Splinter cell : Chaos theory.

I disagree. Dude, its not a case of "if", go read the Wii's specs.

Thats more of an opinion than anything else (an opinion which i completely disagree). And i also have the feeling you dont own a Wii.

Launch day purchase, still have it. Along with Super parper mario, Mario Galaxy, Metriod Prime 3, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Twilight Princess and Brawl.

Then i cant possibly understand how you believe the Wii is weaker than the Xbox and is'nt capable of running NGB, or that Splinter Cell looks "miles" better than Galaxy and Metroid.

From a tecnical point of view the certainly do. Mario and Metriod however have much better art and creative world desing. Medtriod also has incredible attetndion to detail.
This topic seems done, and im tired. Stay tuned for part tri tommorow at around 4 pm eastern time. Its gonna be one hell of a Chaos Theory.

Chaos Theory is much better looking than anything on the Wii from a technical, realistic standpoint. Sure Mario galaxy/Metroid might look more appealing as a result of better art design, but Ninja Gaiden requires a system with a bit more tech muscle (as it is extremely fast paced, has huge detailed bosses, etc). So far Wii has done nothing to prove that i can handle games like Chaoes Theory/NG from the original Xbox.

Like I said, I never played NG, but even though it's fast, this control scheme is fine.

Brawl looks on par with ninja gaiden black and it's pretty damn fast paced.it won't be able to "emulate" since emulation needs 3x better spec of the original system you're emulating.
it's possible for wii to run it if it's PORTED with lower detail, etc...
btw you should trade your wii for 360 if this bothers you that much. it's only $200 new. :)

The argument that the Wii is more powerful than the Xbox just hasn't been proven yet, IMO. Until developers show that it can, I won't believe it. Nintendo is leading the pack with good looking games on the Wii, and most of that is a result of chosen art-style, not really pushing the Wii technically.
I'm sure they could make the controls even betterfabz_95
