Why would anyone that is a PC gamer and be interested in this game buy it anywhere but from GOG?
The GOG version is DRM free, GOG is owned by the Devs of the game, and if you are a Steam junkie you can link the game to your steam account...... Please tell me one reason, as a PC only gamer, you would ever buy this digital download from anywhere other then GOG?
Steam solely for the full controller support and general ease of access.
Whatever controller support the game will have will be the same regardless where you buy it.

Overpriced. Pc gamers are attempting to give a free pass (like massive hypocrites).
Huh? it costs less than most typical high profile pc-centric titles and a lot less than most of high profile multiplats

PC games are £29.99 and pushing it (really pushing it) £39.99.
£49.99 is what is commonly refereed to as "taking the piss".

I know your tiny brain is too stupid to notice but if £40 = $85 then $39 is around than 18£ rendering your stupid bs again incorrect.

My friend, while America is the greatest country in the world we should all admire and the dollar, the greatest currency in the world, it is not the British Sterling.

I've looked at Amazon.co.uk. They have Witcher 3 for £35 , so what are you complaining about?

Whats the price (ignoring the pretend price cut that isn't really) on steam and gog my friend?

40 euros on GOG. Pretty damn cheap. Cheaper than pretty much every big PC release.

1. Ignoring steam and GOG
2. Switches currency to avoid the qeastion
So there you go, deliberately enforced ignorance. Thus, hypocrisy.
Case closed.

Huh? I have no clue what you're talking about. I wrote it's 40 euros on GOG, which is a lot cheaper than pretty much every single big PC release. How much is it on GOG in UK? Do they even have prices by pounds? I have no way of knowing. So maybe state how much is it on GOG in pounds instead of making yourself look like a troll?
I don't get how GOG can claim fair worldwide prices and then ask 59.99 euro for The Witcher 3.
So not from there
For me its 47euros here

They give you store credit to make up the price difference.

Sure, but say I'm not a gog-shopper and I want to just buy the Witcher 3. What good is store credit ?
True but every other place charges the same as on GOG (or more) and doesn't give you store credit.

Good point.
What I'm saying is that I'd rather pay the amount in dollars for a site that claims to have fair pricing... But of course I know that's not happening :P

Welp, lesson noted. I didn't know that lol. Just got into pc gaming and its been quirky learning the ropes and stuff. I'm a heavy game pad user (currently using Logitech f710) and generally this feature its one of my most sought-after ones when purchasing games. Gotta say Steam has been a tremendous help with their easy-to-follow sort of content for the beginners.

Where I am GOG is charging around $20 more than steam, doesn't really seem like a good deal even with the credit.

Where you from? I'm sure for most people that's not the case.
In your case, then no it doesn't seem like a good deal.

New Zealand, I understand I'm in the minority, just thought I'd say that it's not a good deal for everyone. On steam it costs $60US (before the discount) and on GOG it costs $90AU (again before the discount). Not really understanding how they justify that when they set the steam price as well, just another case of people outside of the US getting fucked over for the same thing.
I'm still unsure, I really want to support GOG.com, so I'll probably get it from there. I'm pumped to see what they can demonstrate with GOG Galaxy.
@AzatiS: I've been a Steam user for a solid 8 years, so you could say that most of my games are on there. As much as I love Steam, there is just so much that makes GOG more special for me. I mean granted, GOG doesn't have the best collection of modern games, but I feel like I should show them greater appreciation for their dedication to the PC community.
