Of course they don't, but not because they don't want to play it but because they know the consoles could never run it.  You typically don't beg for things you know you aren't able to have.

Can you imagine if this was a launch title on PS4? Cows would be creaming themselves! Wow, its the best thing ever, look at the graphics, total open world, incredible sandbox, nothing on Xbone blah blah.  It would be the same for the lemmings.

It's not no, it's a FP perspective but you can control your entire empire as well. 

I'm looking forward to fleet vs fleet battles with me in my little M3, flying and fighting in and around my own capital ships against the hordes of enemy fighters.  Knowing that you built the entire fleet from scratch having founded an economy strong enough to support it and THEN fighting with them is completely awesome.

It's not a sim in that respect and nothing like MS Flight Sim for example.  It is very arcade like in it's fighting and flying...but the empire building and economy are sims. This is so much more than one genre tbh.

Of course but I wonder how popular are those with pc gamers

Considering the number of multiplats on consoles and PC, probably pretty popular.  All those hardcore games for teh elite PC gamers, tend to have pretty small communities

They reused footage from older videos for that one

Space sims or simulator in general aren't that popular on console.

I'm looking forward to the streamlined gameplay. The X3 has always been extremely complex but sadly never that deep. Its own complexities always strangled itself. Its depth comes from the choices you make but often you'll spend more time micromanaging than you will be making meaningful decisions. If they can fix that the game will get a whole lot better. It looks like they've take a lot of steps in the right direction. Hopefully this will be a rich experience that isn't too complicated for its own good.

The combat looks much better and much more rewarding. I'm really looking forward to seeing massive battles around these massive stations.

Single player. It will need a fairly good rig as it's CPU intensive.

It's in the OP but 15th November this year.  Don't buy a PS4, upgrade your rig and get this instead ;).

Will certainly be able to run it and run it well.  It's a quad core, over the recommended speed and this engine has been designed for multi-threading.  It's been in development 7 years.
