I had to check, the Nintendo honks ARE stuffing the ballot box so that non-fighting game would win best fighting game. Gamespot, please do something about this. :|
NHL 09 is one of the best sports games ever made and deserves to be a nominee for GOTY. That doesn't excuse the absence of LBP, SSBB, and GeOW2 though. GameSpot always screws up, pretty much every year (lol Kane and Lynch), so its not surprising. At this rate, I don't think anyone will take GS seriously in the next few years.

SHEEP ARE HACKING THE SITE!" "Multiplat games shoudln't be allowed to win platform awards!"| "No More Heroes??? WTF IS THAT ON THE LIST!" Seriously, you people need to grow up. You're all pathetic. Just because you dislike a certain game, or are too fanboyish to accept that a multiplay game might be any exclusive your console has to offer doesn't mean that GS is full of idiots, or that any list is a piece of crap. Your opinions just as valid as anyones, the only difference is GS actually justifies their opinions, where as you just go off like rabbid fanboys when your favorite game doesn't make the list or gets any hate, or if a game you dislike is praised.
