Am i the only one that does not like the GTA Series?

ive played every GTA starting from GTA2 and i can honestly say so far thats its not that great of a game. Oh and metroid prime sucks too.

The thing is that there is so much to do in GTA that its rediculous,plus the guarunteed great story and voiceacting.

I loved GTA3 liberty city ,but now the series is old and overdone.

I'm not gonna rush out and buy GTA4

I love it personally. My favourite series ever made.

I can understand completely why some wouldn't like it but for me I love the humour, the characters, the cities, pretty much everything about the games.

i loved 3. a great improvement on the GTA formula and its sense fo humour was brilliant. lazlo was just class as the chat show host. and who can forget petsovernight.com? :P. after that....it lost its edge imho. i think it started taking itself a bit too seriously. osan0

What, with "Commando Pest Eradication", or "Knife After Dark" (rated R, for Retarded)? If anything, the series became even funnier. Seriously is the last thing GTA takes itself.

The jump from GTA 3 to Vice City was huge. A real protagonist who actually spoke, motorcycles, aircrafts... the games keep getting better, and 4 will continue the trend.

I don't like GTA for its really crappy shooting engine. Everything feels cheap and ugly.

Variety is the spice of life though.

I just wish it was actually better.

I liked GTA:SA gameplay the best...but storywise GTA:VC is the bestAdo-odA

I think it's 1986, and SA is 1992, from memory.

I don't like GTA much. I'd expected it to be a shooting-adventuring sort of game but it's really all about driving, and I don't like driving games. Plus I suck at them. I also thought they lied about how you could do a mission any way you like. I remember so many times failing missions just because I got out of a car to shoot some guys on foot.

But I'm still a little interested in GTAIV, because I think they have the right idea by making one detailed city instead of a whole state. I also like that the main character is a very 'uncool' immigrant instead of some...blingin'...homeboy... or whatever 'cool' black people are called.

It's a great series, but I think some people make it out to be better than it is.

anyways, gta is fun for a couple reasons

1. the freedom is unparalled

2. fun violence

3. great driving/vehicles

4. innovation

5. everything about the game screams hardwork, from the amount of detail to the finely tuned controls

6. and the gunplay generally is wretched, but you just wait for gta6 ;)

didnt do anything for me...i chuckled but nothing brought be to tears. maybe gta 3 broke my funny bone :P.
