4D graphics? The PS3 can't even beat 360 graphics

Yes, its true. It looks WAY better.

But isn't is said how a system thats been out for 1 year and7-8 monthsis graphically equal to a system thats been out for 7-8 months? Not that I have a PS3, or plan on gettin one, but man when 360 gets the watered down version of Haze ima laugh, everyone talkin all this fanboy sh*t because developers have focused more on 360 so thats why ports to the PS3 are garbage aside from R6:V and NGS.

As an owner of all three consoles, I can safely say Gears of War is the best-looking game. RFoM does look great though.

For a console touted as being 2x more powerful than the Xbox360, the PS3 hasn't come close to that claim yet

Depends on what its full potential is. I don't think we've fully tapped the number of books it can hold up when used as a book stop. Or how many papers it can keep down on your desk when used as a paperweight. Also it makesa great dust magnet/air cleaner. These uses are being tapped out extensively lately and they are now using 95% of the PS3's potential.

Its a metaphor, a business tactic used to distinguish ones self from the competition in this case. Sony gets slated for saying that its gaming machine is more like 4D (saying that its in a whole new dimension in a clever way, but there are too many people with reading comprehension issues to understand it), while sheep love Nintendo for all their "New-Gen" bull****.

OK so everyone's arguments that 4D graphics are possible is flawed. Even if the 4th dimention is time, how does that apply to GRAPHICS. It doesn't. And even if it was a metephore, it was a stupid one.Svarthek

I didn't cover stupid metaphors in literature, but sure, obviously the curriculum where you live is different. It is a metaphor, no more, no less. And its easier to believe than "lol he was referring to the ability to time travle lol... WHICH IT CANT DO... lolerskates... RIGHT GUYS tehhehehe!!11!!!!!11!".

The idea of a metaphor is no words are used to make the comparison and is described as something it's not that holds similarities or suggestive meaning of some sort in relation to the object. The only way any of you would have caught on is if he used a simile instead.

I remember when back in the day when Xbox owners continued saying "Well so and so game is only using 1 care!" or "So and so game only uses 20% of the 360's potential!" the Playstation lovers would attempt to bite their heads off. Now those ones that were attempting to bite the heads off of others are the ones saying "The PS3 is only using 20% of it's potential!"

Although 4D was a metaphor, I wasn't sure where Sony was going with that. It may be technically possible but practical is another issue.

Nope... You got me wrong, I just tend to quote the person who put the last straw on the donkeys back just decided to quote you for saying that it was a stupid metaphor and then added some for for other peoples information (the "teheh lols" part represents the simple minded people in the thread, not necessarily you.

And I wasn't pretending to be smart. I was saying it was a metaphor so get over it.

And I don't support the ps3, I just don't like seeing things misinterpreted. Hell I wasnt even ranting so who knows why you're so upset.

I've now lost count on the different explanations of 4D is but i don't think i have seen it in game yet.
