Whoa, its a whole new series for CGY/SJ...that 2nd goal Kiprusoff gave up from a bad angle would make me want to put in CuJo for Game 5 for CalgaryLos9090

It'll be interesting to see how Calgary comes back after that loss. It's going to be tough with games 5 and 7 in San Jose now...

Oh and Minni played terrible last night. Not only were the Av's flying by them the entire game, they were acting like a bunch of goons! Way too many undisciplined penalties.

Did look goofy what Avery was doing with his stick trying to block Brodeurs view. The real surprise is none of the other Devils just didnt bump or knock Avery out of the way or something.

mrgab

I think Chris Drury did more to Avery than the Devils d-men. Now thats playing a defensive system!

[QUOTE="mrgab"]1 game down - Rangers beat the Devils 4-1 :)GT90

Another win in NJ.

yah NJ is playing terrible, idk what to say, there just not playing their game right now.

NY is just a much deeper team, they have goaltending AND a potent offence, whereas NJ just has a goalie.

NY's supposed potent offense only scored 7 more goals then NJ during the regular season.

The Rangers had a hard time scoring the beginning of the season, and were winning and losing by scoring 2 or fewer goals.

Over the last month or two they started to score a lot more.

Sens sweeped.

I'm surprised that Nashville is actually competing with Detroit. I was expecting a 4/5 game series but they way Nashville are scoring, it looks like it's going to be at least a 6 game series.

And I think the Habs intentionally lost a game in Boston so they would finish the series at home

That felt good. That'll teach them for putting a picture on the Pens losing last year in their locker room.

I highly doubt the Habs "try" to lose in the playoffs so they can finish off the Bruins. Boston has been playing them tight, but someone needs to solve Carey Price.

If your referring to my Habs remark, I wasn't serious. I was just making excuces for why they would lose to Boston. I mean c'mon they're Boston, Montreal should've sweeped them!

how about them preds, evened up the series 2-2 with a solid win tonight. Ellis did awesome and the offense was able to score enough to get the job done. for me this was unexpected, especially how they played the first 2 games. good job preds, so far.

No way they were gonna get swept.

So far the Capitals are playing well...this series could go 7.

I think Boston will lose, but not without a gutsy fight.

Wow. The Habs were owned tonight. 5-1 Bruins.

Price let in 3 horrible goals...I'm so dissapointed.

Kovalev scored a beautiful goal without a helmet though.

I really, really hope that second goal didn't rattle him to badly. That kind of thing can be a confidence killer. Now we get to see the strength of Guy Carboneau's coaching.

Avs win Game 5, 3-2, and lead the series 3-2 going back to Colorado. I think the Avs got it, Theodore has been owning it up in this series.

I was watching the Sharks/Flames game and it looks like San Jose has found a groove.

Who would have thought Dallas would be up on Anaheim 3-1? That makes me happy since I didn't like how S. Neidermayer and Selanne came back in the middle of the season just because they could instead of playing a whole season.

I went to that game last night. Man, it was GREAT! I had confidence in the Stars to be able to best Anaheim, but I never thought I'd seen them up 3-1 after 4 games. I figured it'd be 2-2 by this point.

The Caps need to use Ovechkin differently, such as taking him off the point on the PP. The Flyers have done thier homework and are mostly keeping him off the scoresheet. The Flyers just have more experience with the playoffs and I think Philly's got this game.

Detroit wins their series, 4-2, with a 2-0 win today against Nashville. Osgood is looking good 2 shutout streak, although i feel Detroits D its a huge reason why. I have to give Ellis alot of credit, basically kept his team in all the games. Nashville didn't get swept, and kept most of the game very close. Good job Detroit, hmm if im not mistaking, if SJ wins the series, my avs would be playing them, definately be an interesting series.

The stars won their series. First series they have one since 2003 and DAMN it is good to see. Doubly sweet because I frickin hate the Ducks. Bunch of goons. GO STARS! Marty didn't face much through most of hte game, but he was great when called upon. GO STARS!!!

I think the Stars are a much better team than they are given credit for. Throughout most of that seris wit hthe Ducks, they looked more like the team that dominated all through Febuary. If they continue to play that, they can go deep into the playoffs.

I think the Caps can pull out another win against the Phillies and knot the series at 3 a piece

I am shocked that the Bruins came back and tied the series at 3. Lord knows how that one is going to end up. It should be fun to watch though :D

The Stars had everyone convinced they were the team that went 3-12 (or whatever) in March and not the team that was so good in February. It looks like they've gotten hot at the right time.

Not going to lie, the Ducks really sucked this time around but I guess every team has their ups and downs. I can't see the stars making it by another round. Just wait, the Ducks will make the proper adjustments, maybe give Gigure a code red, then we will be cup bound again. Go Ducks!

Heres the basic Rules:

1. You win the bet if the flyers go 4-2 or better in the series, i win if there anything worse.

2. Loser uses sig till playoffs are done.

hockey73

Bauer-Twin, with a 4-2 win tonight the caps tied the series 3-3, thus i win the bet.
