@stopbanningme: @LJS9502_basic isn't a mod... Is everything OK? You sound triggered
What made you think "stopbanningme" is that?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
@horgen: Maybe the posting all over desperately for some reason and calling people out instead of just contacting the mods? I just saw it all of a sudden and was like wtf, maybe they were banned for a reason?
Anyway now I can't find any of the posts so I can't go back and reassess what I saw.
I didn't say anything to that dude so what would he call the mods about? Anyway he had 3 accounts here last night and was trolling. Including trolling mods. But stand up for him by all means
So, predictions for tonight? Looks like it'll be a photo finish again. If the dems win it'll probably wreck every conspiracy laden republican for life.
@HoolaHoopMan: I get nervous when Democrats lead early. But we need those seats or the US is doomed:
We are so screwed. Looks like the GOP stole two. Two more radical right wing fascists in government is bad.
Dems are looking to be up. Not sure what you're looking at. Trends are putting them in a better place compared to Nov numbers.
Dave Wasserman from the Cook Report is already calling it for Warnock. Ossof v. Perdue is a bit closer at this point.
@HoolaHoopMan: CNN and RealClearPolitics both have the GOO by over 1%.
You're looking at current counts. The remaining votes to count will likely lean democrat by a margin that is well enough to put them at the top. This is how projections work.
@HoolaHoopMan: Most early counts were absentee and early voting. The rest are same day:
Purdue is up by 2% with 80% counted.

Just wait a little. You might be surprised.
@HoolaHoopMan: Don’t chicken out now. You know the Dems lost. Georgia is very much a red state.
The Dems have won, the GOP have ran out of votes. They are really underperforming tonight.
The rest of the vote is in very Dem districts.

Look at the actual numbers. Loeffler is up by 2 and Purdue is up by almost 3. What you posted is based on polling data.

No, its based on who is left to count and past margins.
The Dem Senate candidates now are outperforming Biden in Nov.

Chicken out on a forum bet? Yea, from a new shit poster too, think I'll pass. You don't seem to understand how vote counting works.
@texasgoldrush: We will see. But with absentee and early voting already mostly counted I am not holding my breath. It’s at 90% and the leads are not narrowing.
@HoolaHoopMan: Yeah, you’re not worth my time.

GOP vote is now exhausted. Its all Dem from here, just like the Presidential race.
And it will not be as close.
@texasgoldrush: I hope so. I want the Democrats to win, I got real nervous when the GOP got up by so much with such little left. That and early voting and absentee ballots were mostly counted.

Warnock has taken the lead, and Ossoff will soon follow
@texasgoldrush: Warnock was closer. Purdue had a neat 3 point lead. Chicken Purdue is tied.
I love that that Kelly person is gone. But expect her to sue and demand a recount.
@texasgoldrush: Has Perdue lost his lead?
current results have perdue up by ~1200 votes.
crazy close
@comp_atkins: Ok. The Democrats haven’t won the senate. Very close, not sure how many votes are left though.
@texasgoldrush: Yep. Balance of outstanding ballots are from Democrat counties and there are also 17,000 military and overseas votes which have until Friday to arrive. Seems highly likely that the Dems will win a high enough percent of the outstanding as they are going to get a strong majority in Dekalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb which is where 75% of the remaining non overseas vote is still outstanding.
I look forward to officially laughing by the end of the week.
@yessir said:@comp_atkins: Ok. The Democrats haven’t won the senate. Very close, not sure how many votes are left though.
fox has perdue up by 1300 now but w/ 135K votes remaining. so there is a lot still to count.
Edit: and now ossoff is up by 8k
@comp_atkins: I hope he holds on. 2022 looks promising as there are some Republicans that are vulnerable up for re-election. Pennsylvania and Wisconsin could flip, and after those two senators blocking 2k checks and the stunt Republicans just pulled in Pennsylvania, that is highly likely!
Seems like Ossoff has called victory. 16,000 votes ahead, almost all votes counted.
That's good news. This practically shuts out the Republicans for a few years, which is exactly what the US needs right now to start recovering.
Never been prouder of my state. A great day for Georgia. I was mildly surprised Biden pulled it out in November, but not completely shocked by that result. But winning two run-offs in January? I would've given it maybe a 10% chance after Biden's win. Incredible.
There's almost 100,000 votes left to count.
Trump is not disappointing, he's ready with his conspiracy theories.
it doesn't appear trump is a president who even understands how elections work at all.
So I am guessing there will be 2-3 recounts of the votes ahead of us now???
Depends on the final tally, but late counted votes tend to lean Democrat. Warnock is beyond the threshold for a recount, his win is effectively unassailable. Ossoff still has the potential to get there by the time the count is over (currently at a .4% margin lead, and only needs .5% to avoid recount).
@mattbbpl: Wait Giuliani and Trump are willing to risk their reputation?? What reputation exactly? :D
