who here had psn+ and who dont

i am just curious because almost all my friend in my friendlist has playstation plus. all of them upgraded this month. it seems sony is winning over alot of people. i still dont have it since i have almost all games they are offering but im curious to know what is the ratio of have to not

I've had it for over a year and just got another year of it. I can't imagine not having it now.

ive had it free after the hacker outage and it wasnt worth imo to continue paying for it

I've had it for a while if only to prevent losing my saves in the case of my ps3 failing which has happened before.

Don't have it, but will definitely consider getting it during the upcoming months.

I tried it out when it was free in the welcome back package Sony offered after the PSN outage. The only thing I found useful was the cloud save feature, but that alone doesn't justify a subscription to me.

I definitely think it's worth it, but I can't upkeep my xbox subscription as well as my playstation plus subscription :P

Meh, that's just too long.

i was going to try for a free month when i bought my slim, but even the free month required a credit card. i've never put my credit card on my psn account, and i'm not going to (i only use psn cards).

I missed out on a lot of games for a time and Playstation+ is actually giving out a steady amount of games I wanted but never did play. So I?m happy with it, beats live by far.

LOL. I would be lucky to download 16GB in 16 Hours. On my computer it would take probably 10 hours or something. But I usually figure at least double for PSN downloads.

I have it and love the free game downloads, "plus" it's only 5 bucks a month.;)

I used to have it then my subscription ran out, then they give out like 30 games for free to PS+.

If you have a PS3 and don't have PS+, you're doing it wrong.

I've had it since the beginning.

My problem is I have no room on my hard drive, but I won't let myself upgrade to a larger one because I think it will make me play and complete more games in my digital backlog if I'm forced to delete games to add others. So far this has been a failure.

I still don't have PSN+.

It's a waste of money.

Some free games would've been nice, but I wouldn't have been able to keep them after my free subscriptions would've run out.

The reason I got a PS3 instead of a 360 initially was because I didn't have to pay a subscription fee for PSN services. Kinda defeats the purpose if I decide to pay for PSN+.

I just recently upgraded to plus and i think its worth it with the free stuff. seeing i can keep up with keeping plus active insted of my xbox live giving out free games each month is awesome i really wanted to get Infamous 2 and i wasnt trying to spend money on it when i seen it was for free on plus i was like YES FINNALY i can experince a game that everyone said was good. so i think having plus is well worth it

I've got it and I love it. It's opened me up to games I would never have even thought of playing - most recently Motorstorm and Warhammer. Whilst I wish there were more features - as above, the ability to change usernames or gift games - I'm happy with what I've got.

Had since day 1 ...worth waaaaaay more than the price of admission in my opinionrawsavon

I've kept up my Playstation Plus subsciption after the PSN outage last year. I've found it very worthwhile throughout, (bearing in mind a couple of slow months) and even moreso with the recent huge bump in content.

I don't know why people see the two as the same.

Think about it;

With live you are paying 60$ to have a full gaming and home entertainment experience, Without it No online, No Netflix, No ESPN, No HBO, No Hulu, No Video chat, nothing other then games you own a marketplace to browse and demos you download. With live you pay to use things you have to pay for once again there is hardly a perk to that.

Where as we all know you get access to all that for free and will not have to pay for a second subscription. Playstation+ is a bonus program, you pay for a few services not normally offered by Sony like Cloud service and automatic updates and for that they give you free items every now and then as a perk for having it.


Comparing Live to + is like comparing buying a Brick to buying a Cake yeah you pay for both but they serve two entirely different ends.

I don't but these features will convince me. 1. Ability to change screen name. 2. Voice messages. 3. Option to gift games. 4. Attaching video files. 5. Bigger online storage space. 6. Choice between 3-5 movies to rent a month. 7. Ability to re-arrange trophies in profile.Swift_Boss_A
