Im thinking about downloading Final Fantasy 7, but ive never played any FF games, nor have I really played many RPGs out side of Fallout/Oblivion.

How long is the learning curve? Is the battle system hard to pick up on?

2. Buy Mirrors Edge and No More Heroes

3. Buy Burnout Paradise, Resident Evil 4 for Wii, and No More Heroes

Burnout. It's cheaper and is a hell of a fun online :D !!!!!, plus there is DLC coming out frequently

I wanted Red Faction Guerrilla but now with Call of Juarez coming now I don't know what to get they're different but what I'm looking for is for the online. I've seen videos of Call of Juarez and it looks awesome. But the only think I don't get about the multiplayer is do they have classes or something ? Or just cowboys taking cover and shooting ?

I say Call of Juarez. Sure Red Faction is not bad, but Call of Juarez looks amazing, especially the multiplayer.

Best strict JRPG is probably Eternal Sonata, but the story is a bit lacking. It's not terrible, just a bit cliche and cheesy at times. It can be cute though. Battle system is awesome as well.

If you're willing to go toward a more strategy RPG, than Valkyria Chronicles has both a stellar story and gameplay.

does VC play like fire emblem on GBA?SilverChimera

Is Fire Emblem turn-based on a grid or something like that? If so, VC is different. It's turn-based, but there is no grid system. You have free roam with your characters. You move them in a 3rd person perspective and aim in first person. It's a nice blend of genres and it makes the game pretty unique.

I will defintly getting Metal Gear Solid 4

MAG looks awesome!!!! Building off of where CoD and other games left off in the online aspect!!! Althought i gotta admit i have my concerns about getting 256 people together in an online game and how many games would there be at a time... There should be a setting that if you cant get enough people together, they start a game with less people.

Kirby is developed by HAL but published by Nintendo..... Not sure who its owned by.... sorry though.... And it hasnt been confirmed if they are developing a new game.

I'm looking for some suggestions on some games to get. Right now, I'm pretty dissapointed with my collection since I'm not finding too many games on the PS3 that match my style. So what I have now is: Little Big Planet, Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Batman, Burnout Paradise and Buzz Quiz TV. I'm looking for something that is fun and a pretty long game. I'm planning to get Ratchet and Clank, but just haven't got it yet.

My questions are:

1. What games do you recommend based on what I already have?

2. What would be a good game to try to kind of get out of the more casual gaming style. I've played demos of Uncharted and Bioshock, both were okay, but I much preferred Uncharted and I'm thinking of getting it. There were a few others I played demos on and didn't really like, I believe Resident Evil was one and I can't think of the others. So what would a good game be to start out with, nothing overly gorey and bloody?

All of those games you just listed except Resistance 2 are AWESOME online MP games. You should check em all out. You've got nothing to lose, believe me.

I do have both, but i prefer UFC... it has more depth and better overall... and being an MMA is a plus coz you're familiar with the fighters and the disciplines, you could relate easily... i've been playing it since i got it. but i'm not saying that FNR4 is bad, one good thing i've heard about it is that it's lag-free...

There are a bunch of games that are not necessarily gory. Mirrors Edge, Motorstorm 2, Warhawk, Valkyria Chronicles, Guitar Hero games, FIFA's/PES's, MGS4, Fight Night Round 4, Street Fighter 4, UFC: Undisputed, inFAMOUS, Overlord II....and so on....there are many games to choose from :D

I want a good RPG chock full of armor and goodies to collect, plenty of things to do, non-linear, and character customization.

What are everyone's feelings onSacred 2? I am waiting on Fallout 3 GOTY, and I didn't like Oblivion all that much, but might try it again. Am I missing any other RPGs that fit the bill?

Thanks for the suggestions. I played the demo of Mirrors Edge and it was pretty fun, so I may get the full copy and see how it is. In the demo there was actually a point when you are being chased that got my heart racing a little bit, so I think that is a big plus! I've heard a lot of good things about Motorstorm and it looks like fun, but I haven't decided if I want another racing game yet. I like inFAMOUS too, so I think I will try both of those. I found myself having WAY more fun with Fight Night Round 3 than I did with UFC, so I would imagine I would like Round 4 over UFC also. My friend owns UFC for the Xbox 360, and I play at his house alot. The game isnt bad, I just enjoy Fight Night more. It has nothing to do with me liking boxing over MMA because its actually the other way around, the UFC game just seems too technical for me.

As far as the online goes, I think lag hurts this game more so than others because of how technical the game is.
