I have neither but from I've seen on the forums and reviews, I'd say Syphon Filter.
Now I know these are all different games but I want one that will last me awhile. I can't get online games also. The games I'm looking at are: MLB 06: The Show-Haven't played a baseball game for a couple of years but I do like them. Metal Gear Acid-Never really played a strategy game or a Metal Gear game. Gameplay looks interesting from the videos I've seen. Since I haven't played this type of game I would be willing to try it out with an open mind and give it a chance. Lumines-I like the odd puzzle game. I loved Meteos for the DS if that helps any.
I'm about to get a PSP and am looking for a game that has great value and great gameplay :P. I've been looking at Daxter, Lumines, GTA, Burnout Legends, and MLB: The Show '06 specifically, although any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
Something that wont get boring after a while... and preferably cheaper in price (has been out for a while). The only thing turning me off from Daxter and GTA is that they are still new and full price... although that may be the same with MLB as well. Thank you!
If you haven't done so already, get Mega Man Powered Up. Read my review of it in my sig. I've been thinking about picking up Metal Gear Acid. The question is, do I need to play the first in order to get into the second game, or can I just go straight to the second game?

i bought the show and i hated it. the season mode is really unrealistic (way too many unbalanced trades), but if you are more looking for the career or exhibition modes, then it is probably a good game. DO NOT BUY MLB 2K6!!!!
I am thinking about buying Mega Man Powered Up but I still have some questions: - Is it possible to upload/download levels if you don't have wireless internet? - How challenging is it, how long does it take to beat the game on easy?
Would World Soccer Winning Eleven 9 be a good choice for a single player game? I do like the occasional sports game. Are there any other games with a strong single player that will last a while? Metal Gear Acid 2, Daxter, etc.? I'm not really into GTA and I have Burnout, Metal Gear Acid and MLB 06: The Show.

Thanks in advance. 1. It's possible, provided you know of any Web sites that have stages for download, and you have a USB cable. 2. The game is quite challenging. Expect to see the words "Game Over" several times--unless you're playing the game on Easy. I only recommend Easy mode if you're trying to quickly get through the game with the other playable characters. Playing on Easy mode means you won't be able to collect scenery or enemy packs for the level editor. The game can be beaten in maybe 1 1/2 hours. If you know what you're doing, it'll take less time.
i agree with the fact that burnout legends and socom FTB were excellent...i was a previous owner of both games, but i sold them back. why? no story aspect to it. i enjoy games that have some sort of plotline to it. needless to say a game like burnout doesn't have a story to it at all, and while socom has a single player campaign there was absolutely no depth to it.
that said, i'm wondering what are the current games out now that have a good storyline to it.
Ok folks. Would Outrun 2006 be worth the Wipeout Pure trade in. In other words is Outrun as good as Wipeout? The racing style of wipeout is starting to annoy me (not tactile enough). O loved the old school Outrun so if you've played both games, is is worth it?
I'm going to have a 15hour plane ride to Shanghai this coming Saturday, need some new games to entertain me (so something with good replay value or not something I could beat in an hour or two). I was thinking of one of the following:
