Resistance 2 the best PS3 exclusive game?

i just beat this game last night and i have to say that it was the most satisfying completion of a game i have ever experienced...is this by far the best ps3 exclusive game? also, the ending was surprising, never played a game that ended like that. hopefully there is a resistance 3...

I say Uncharted. I love Killzone 2 too, but people won't agree with that.

uncharted is up there, but i thought resistance 2 was more challenging so i got more satisfaction out of it. killzone 2, ehhhh...i have the game but i am still not too happy with the controls. i guess i need to suck it up and get used to it...

Agreed. I don't really think R2 is garbage, just 'meh'. Fall of Man was vastly superior to me.

Needless to say, hell freakin' no I don't think Resistance 2 is the best PS3 exclusive. Not even close. Uncharted wins that by a landslide in my humble opinion.

not understanding the hate on resistance 2...it is waaaaaaaaay better than halo and most consider that one of the best franchises in video game history.

The first time I played R2, I didn't like it that much or as other people I just thought "meh", but after about a year I have started playing it again, and I actually really like it now! I love the online, but it is sadly dying, and I have been playing the single player again and find it a lot better than I remember.

R2 is one of my favorite exclusive games and I think the it is better than RFOM due to better graphics and better boss battles. More of an epic feel. I don't think it is the best exclusive though as I prefer Uncharted (my favorite video game this gen until ofcouse probably U2) and also R&C. I do believe that KZ2 was the most overrated exclusivegame with horrible aiming controls. I do have to say that LBP is a close second to being overrated also.

i know i am in the minority here but i thought mgs 4 was disappointing...i havent really been a fan of mgs since the first one came out on ps1.

did the developers ever explain why the controls are atrocious on killzone 2?

i have considered buying resistance 1 since i have not played it but i doubt i will enjoy it since i played resistance 2 first. its like downgrading, i heard the graphics are not as good either.

Resistance 2 certainly is up there and is probably the most complete package on the ps3 outside of LBP, Oblivion:Goty, and Orange Box in terms of content but i think Uncharted, MGS4, Killzone 2, and LBP are better than R2. I love r2 though and was having fun replaying it yesterday. R2 gets a lot of flak but it is an excellent game that dare i say is overlooked

I forgot about MGS4 also. I mean I love the gameplay but the loading times were rediculous and took a lot of the fun out ot the game. Though I can see why people would call this the best exclusive even though for me it still is Uncharted followed by R&C.

R2 was pretty good but not the best. One of the best at the most. The online co-op was a blast, nothing else in any game comes close to it.

Although i still enjoy Resistance 2 a lot, i gotta say that Resistance Fall of Man was a lot better.. (Mostly because of Parker)

Uncharted tops both especially KZ2 with horrible controls and limited gun selections. Infamous is a nice game but a little repetitive and gets a little bland with the same background after awhile as the graphics are nothing special either.

Well online coop is something they sure did better and I thought the boss battles were tougher and more epic. I do believe that one thing I did prefer in the first resistance was the offline co-op for the campaign. That was a lot of fun with another person. Too bad R2 missed out on this but I guess online co-op made up for it somewhat. Though I don't think R2 is the best PS3 exclusive it was definitely a solid sequel to RFOM.
