I definitely like the feel for the original. The added bulk feels better and you don't feel you are going to break it as easily. I also like how it has an eject switch instead of you having to pop it open manually (like the 3000).

However, the 3000 model definitely made some much needed improvements to the original forumula. Better screen, RAM (2000 Model), Added Features (Such as Skype, which is great with the free microphone), etc.

If only they could merge the 1000 and the 3000, I'd be a happy camper.

Well if its the only one you've had, your opinion doesn't matter considering you wouldn't know and you're biased.

As much as I like the 1000 as an entire package, I can't go back to it after using a 3000.

Soon I'm going to borrow my bro's 2000 series, and do a blog entry with pics of all 3 models in action.

Sounds like a great idea. Let the PSP forum know when you have it complete.

Finally something to end the argument. I do have a feeling the 2000 and 3000 will be tied up though. They are about the same. But you lose the hacking ability everyone loves about it if you go for the 3000. And you gain the Sony Store. 'Cause I thought if you update your system too much, you can't hack anymore. Its not a problem for me. I never knew how anyways.

ive had all 3, 300 is by far the best...no interlacing issues at all, better texture to the console, better screen and a mic.

3000 Has amazingly colorful LCD. Makes all other LCDs look like trash. I swear when I first compared it to my PSP 2000, I almost fainted. Almost makes the old PSPs look black and white.

Don't think they'd ever go back to making those quality Phat versions again. Costs way too much to make. The phat was like Swiss Watch built, heavy internal metal chassis, steel door, steel latch, steel internal LCD cradle, heavy plastic external chassis. The PSP phat was sold at a loss, the PSP slims are cheap Chinese Car built. They are mean't to make money, not to be of good quality.

I used to have a 2000, but sold it a while back.. It came w/dead pixels, and I couldn't find any1 who could hack it at the time. However, now im in the market for a PSP again and don't know whether to go w/a 2000 w/pandora, or a 3000. Any suggestions?

3000. The 3000 LCD makes my 2000, look like a black and white screen. It's like 100x more vibrant. 100x is an understatement, it's more like 1000x more vibrant. Safe to say, that you're really seeing all the colors in your PSP game until, you try 3000.

this is a horrible poll, its a no brainer that the 3000 is the best model. thats like asking if the DS original is better than the DS Lite, its just a stupid question.

The quest should be would you sell your 1000 or 2000 to get a 3000?

My Answer is no. I have had a 1000 sinse launch and it works just fine to this day. Now if it broke down on me I would buy a 3000 in a second.

3000 has scan lines for some games, and also cant be homebrewed.

I went 2000 because its pretty much the first one minus weight and tv output.

I'm Going To Get A PSP-2000 Next Week... Anybody Know Which One I Voted For?? Hehe, Anyway, The Reason I Choose It Over The PSP-1000 Is It's Lighter And Has Faster Loading Times, Though The PSP-1000 Is Much More Sturdy. I Choose It Over The 3000 Because The 3000 Has Screen Problems And Stuff.

I have owned all 3 PSPs 1000,2000,3000. Currently I just have the original phat and a 3000 brite. The differences between the 2000,3000 are minor. Just the built in microphone. The battery cover on the 2000 seemed loose. The build of the PSP 3000 seems slighty sturdier. As for the screen of the 2000 vs 3000 I cannot see the difference. I'd have to hold them side by side.

My favorite is still the 1000 since it is the most durable.

I have both a 1000 and 3000, and I love the 3000. It's sleek and light weight with a better battery life. The only problem I have with it is the flimsy UMD door/flap/whatever-it's-called (can you tell I'm tired? :P ).

1000 - bigger, easier to hold, matte rear has better grip and wont show fingerprints, has a better surviveability if you drop it, and is easier to clean the insides if need be.
2000 - smaller, lighter, better hardware and positioning of speakers.
3000 -its got the ps logo on a button

I've owned a 1000 and a 2000 (a Blue limited edition), and I'd have to say in general, the 1000. I've become attached to my blue 2000 though so I don't want to part with it...

I have all 3 models but I like the 3000, the most. I only wish it had the storage of the PSP Go without those memory sticks. :?

But I like how it feels in your hands while you play it.
