Themes, avatars, discounted games, and I think DLCs you keep. Full games you do not keep but you should have completed them with the year you have to play them, it's not that bad, after I'm done with most of my PSN games I hardly ever play them again.

Depends on the content. DLC type things you seem to get to keep, but full games are unplayable after the subscription is up. When you go to download it, it tells you when its something that you don't get to keep.

So it says for Stacking that you can't keep this? What does it say?

It'll basically say that if you do not renew your subscription you have to buy it to play it unless you renew.

So for the free Ps One games you have to just uninstall them when your Plus membership runs out? That's no fun.

Think of it this way. You payed $0 for it so you can't complain when it is taken from you.

A little thing most are unaware of...

Press triangle on your downloaded Playstation Plus title and select information. If there's an expiration time and date then you'll need to renew to continue playing that particular title. Some games however do not have an expiration date. My copy of Sam and Max for example does not... along with a couple of others I've downloaded. Most however will have an expiration date.

It is a fair deal. With PS+ you get at least one to 2 free games a month. One of those games always is a regular PSN titile worth $10 or more, so when you subscribe yearly, you basically only pay for the first 5 months of free games leaving the other 7 months pure profit for you. It is a fair trade.

All it is is an online rental service. i.e. pay membership and you get free rentals for the subscription period. After which the content you "rented" you wouldnt really play agian after a year or so.

The content you have downloaded as part of your PlayStation Plus subscription at no charge is only accessible as long as you are an active subscriber. The exceptions are free themes and avatars, which you will continue to have access to, even if you are no longer a subscriber.

Anything you have purchased (even if you purchased it at a discount) will remain available to you even if your subscription ends.

I purchased Dead Nation for example with discount and it's mine to keep even after subscription ends.

PS+ had paid itself on first two month with free content for me personally.
