Call of Duty 4 is the most addictive online shooter there is right now. The ranking system amounts to much more than just changing character type as one poster stated above. There is so much customization regarding weapons, scopes, camo, grenades, and a huge combination of "abilities" like increased health, hip fire accuracy, etc.

Just do a custom search to play other maps if you want. There are always plenty of Dustbowl matches going on. TF2's fun is not based on having a plethora of maps, but in having wildly different and useful characters go at it in objective-heavy, team based battles. TF2 is a riot... but I think COD4 is better.
