@Grey_Eyed_Elf: I've been extremely lucky. I have not had a single crash as of yet. I played 1.01, 1.02, 1.03 and 1.04.

Me neither, and it runs really well.

I've had 2 crashes, unfortunately, but nothing to cry over (infrequent enough, at any rate). I'm impressed how quickly the game (re)loads :-P (TW2 loads like TAR for some reason on the exact same system)

I think you forgot something. Laziness/deadlines to be met.

On the contrary.

I am counting on it.

They have triple more performance with the same hardware.

What would they do? Use this advantage and make a more eye candy game, or leave it and let every PC being able to play the game while they wouldn't need too much work to be done.

Laziness/deadlines will win in the begining. :D

They will release code that is even worse and it can still run.

Damn the game looks beautiful. Can't wait until I got a proper GPU to play it.

I found a great youtube video that compares 1.02, 1.03 and 1.04 (PS4 too but who cares? :P) image quality after the changes CDPR did in the game.

My specs:

Fx 8350 clocked at 4.0ghz
4GB ram 1600Mhz
MSI R9 280X

The graphics settings I'm using:

Resolution: 1366 x 768
Nvidia Hairworks: Off
The rest is at Ultra.

With the 'fantasy' mod, I'm getting an average of 35 fps. Without mod, I'm getting 45 avg. fps. I don't even know what I should have expected but I'm pretty content with the performance thus far considering my ram isn't even up to the minimum requirements.

Good news for Kepler owners:

FYI Changes:

R353.06

  • Supports G-SYNC technology in windowed mode. (Supported for 2-way SLI, but not 3-way or 4-way.)
  • Offers both G-SYNC (V-SYNC on) and G-SYNC (V-SYNC off) options.
  • Adds support for Ultra-Low Motion Blur (ULMB) in the NVIDIA Control Panel.
  • Provides Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) for notebooks with discrete GeForce GPUs, Fermi-based and above.
  • Implements optimizations and bug fixes that provide increased performance for Kepler-based GPUs.

Go and download them!

People reporting from 10%, up to 30% FPS improvement!!!
