my first PC game was Spear of Destiny i think http://wolf3d-s60.sourceforge.net/ ... but i played others before that... those where on a ... idk what to call it .. HC ? :S

Doom, wot a great game man, I was 6 at the time, the only game i used to play that wasnt on the SNES :D

The very first one was prince of persia. But the first computer game was bananas, a game for ancient TK3000

Doom, wot a great game man, I was 6 at the time, the only game i used to play that wasnt on the SNES :DReZa_Yamaha

Actually Doom was on the snes, it was an extremely bad port though.

The frst game I remember playing was on the C64 and I think it was lode runner, or pole position can't remember which.

I might have been Commander Keen. Before getting a pc we had a zx spectrum, I played jet set willy, Manic miner and a moon lander game on that.

I really can't remember what the first exact one was. My family got a Tandy in 88 or 89, and there was a Hangman game and a PacMan clone I played alot of when I was 4 or 5. There was also a side scrolling helicopter game called Striker, which was pretty fun.

Reading Rabbit and F-29 Retaliator on our old 1987 Tandy :P

After that, PC gaming was pretty much dry accept for Microsoft Flight Simulator '98 and Lords of the Realm 2 which I borrowed from a friend.  When I finally got my own computer summer '05, I finally had my first real personal forrays into PC gaming (and not on someone else's computer).  I first started with Far Cry and Age of Empires II, then proceeded to Half-Life and realized what I was missing!  And the rest is history........

My first PC game would be Warcraft II way back.  Yep I play that game on my old 486 computer my dad gave to me.

The first PC game ever, well, must have been Soltaire. But Commander Keen or Doom was the first real PC game

Old Tandy I bought from my dad in 1986 or 87. I played Starflight I think first but the original Bards Tale was out around that time too so I'm not sure which was first.

First game I played properly was Rome Total War. Still havent done much in PC gaming so far though, just started recently, finished Half Life 2, now playing WOW, CS Source, UT2004, Civ 4 and COH.

King's Quest I think, it was around '91 and the computer was my friends 286. No wait, I'll take that back, it was earlier on C64, I can't remember exactly which game on it was the first I played, but among the first ones were Giana Sisters, Pole Position and some other games which names I don't recall.

The first PC game i played was called "Battle Tanks" or something like that. I played it with the Tandy 1000 that my cousin gave me when i was about 7-8 years old. I'm not sure though if you can call a Tandy 1000 a PC.

First game I ever played was a great game called "Catacomb" on the Tandy 1000 in my Dad's shop. I was like 6 at the time...took me so long to figure out how to work that thing and play a game. I didn't even know what a game was...just that it was FUN!!! I'm proud that my little 6 year-old self figured DOS out. There was also this great helicopter game that I played with a joystick. The joystick was literally a box...with a stick...and two buttons...good times.

I can't remember if it was Wolfenstein 3D or some old 'Red Baron' game.  It was a LONG time ago...  I think I was about 6 years old.

I'd say wolfenstein 3D (right before dune 2) on the pc.

On the atari, i'd say archon, river raid, king kong, etc.

mine was probably wolfenstein 3d. I actaully never got really hardcore into pc games untill half life though.

Rocky's Boots. On the Apple IIe. I figure it counts as a PC back then! It had you building logic gates. I think I was in kindergarten, or before I started going to preschool.. either way I used to waste my time building gigantic 'rockets' spanning a couple of screens and flying them across the level. I remember crocodiles, too...
