I'll answer the poll later... I'm still not sure what "Junior" and "Sophomore" and such mean. We go by grades 10, 11 and 12 where I live.
So far grade 11 sucked the most. I took all "Advanced" cIasses, getting stuck with math, physics and chemistry in one semester with no free period and got destroyed (well, I didn't fail any cIasses), and I stopped hanging out with the majority of my friends from junior high/some of grade 10 :(
I voted freshman because I hated all my classes that year, but thinking more about it, I think senior year is the worst for me since every day feels like a colossal waste of time.
First year for me, if only for the fact that I didn't really know anyone. Aside from a few hiccups here and there it got progressively better until I was finished. Overall I'd say it was a good time.
I'd def say sophomore year was my least favorite. Or at least so far. Freshman year was okay, but I'm loving junior year so far. Many people say this is the best year in our high school and i believe them so far.
Freshman year. I was a transfer student and went to a school where I didn't know anyone; I majorly slacked it and got my first C as well. My sophomore year wasn't bad, it just wasn't great or memorable. My best year was probably junior year. So much fun! Too much work during my senior year, and by that time I'd stop having a life and didn't have any money either since I quit my job to focus on said work :P
High School sucked. I despise everything it is and stands for, and consider it to be one of the worst parts of my life. I dropped out in my Jr. year as I was near suicide and got my GED a full year before my class graduated. Good riddance.
My freshman year by far. I had just moved 1,700 miles away from a school where I knew almost everybody.. a school with a graduating class of less than 100. My new school had a graduating class of over 1,200, and I knew nobody. I was miserable, depressed, and got grades far below any other year. All sorts of family problems, etc.. TBH, I've had major depression ever since then. That was 11 years ago. High school did get better though, as I moved back across the country and back to my old school.
Well let's see. Freshman year was meh, okay. (old school) Sophomore was a little bit cooler (old school) Junior (old school) / sophomore (new school... I switched after first quarter in my old school)... was getting lame in my old school... went to new school, was infinitely more fun and interesting. Made many new friends. Junior (new school)... is what I am right now, so I can't tell you yet. But so far I think this year is going to be the craziest yet. But because it's not over, I pick last year. I can only imagine senior year.... haha. Edit: I thought the topic was best year. Worst was probably freshman year.
Jeez guys high school isn't bad so far for me...:| Socially, I'm having a lot of fun. Academically I'm doing alright. So yea thus far high school seems fine to me. I'd pick Freshman as the worst I guess.
