If we're talking in terms of the military, Britain.

If we're talking in terms of economic co-operation, Canada.

That's true but the TC didn't specify what way he meant. Either way, Mexico offers us nothing but crim, drugs, and taken jobs.

I'd have to say Great Britain, in terms of common features and goals. that is of this moment though. Who knows how the Anglo-US relationship will work in a few years from now.

I'd say that Mexico is an important ally... both as a member of NAFTA, and as a partner in the war on drugs. Sometimes they aren't a very cooperative partner, sometimes they are the problem, but they are still undeniably important on that front.

If were using the clothing analogy here, then technically you can take off Canada and Mexico, your "clothes". That leaves you naked and vulnerable...

Exactly. Such pointless wars were never in the empire's interests. There's no use in holding a geographical area if it's inhabitants turn out to be disloyal traitors.

 Are you serious? Disloyal traitors? How about the fact that Britian didn't treat us like Englishman and levied heavy taxes on us. Plus they had a large army over here that was supposedly for defensive purposes, and the people were forced to let them in their homes and to provide for them. Don't try and make it seem like Britian is the noble one here. They were greedy. We fought back.

[QUOTE="Pirate700"]Britain followed by Israel. at Canada and Mexico. Kuhu

Why  at Canada and Mexico?

Both provite little to no real military substance and Mexico is just a thorn in our side, or bottom rather.

Military isn't the only thing, is it? Canada for instance is America's biggest trading partner (not Japan btw).

That's true but the TC didn't specify what way he meant. Either way, Mexico offers us nothing but crim, drugs, and taken jobs.

I'd say that Mexico is an important ally... both as a member of NAFTA, and as a partner in the war on drugs. Sometimes they aren't a very cooperative partner, sometimes they are the problem, but they are still undeniably important on that front.

Just like I said about Canada , Mexico is just our pants. we can take them off when we want to .....

If were using the clothing analogy here, then technically you can take off Canada and Mexico, your "clothes". That leaves you naked and vulnerable...

your still vulnerable with clothes on .....

Britan , were good friends and they owe us for the revolution

next is Canada , their our hat and we can take them off when ever we want .

swizz-the-gamer

They owe us for the revolution? What are you taling about?

I think he's confused just carry on.

Revolutionary War .........history noob :P

We get that. I guess you didn't catch the part where we kicked their ass. They don't owe US for that.

Just because we kicked their ass dosent mean they still owe us debt for innocent killings *cough* Boston Massacare *cough*

So I assume you owe the the Japanese people for innocent killings? I really don't understand this ridiculous concept.

When we killed innocent Japaneese people they were paying debt for Pearl Harbour , Tarawa, Midway, Iwo Jima , Okinawa , Guadacanal , The Philipeenes , Death Marches , ETC . they deserved it .

from what i heard we were doing quite well, we simpley gave up, we don't have much of a history of invading countries that fight back

You obviously weren't doing that well if you gave up... Although the British were fighting a multi front war

The rebels were disloyal to the crown and the law, it's as simple as that. The empire was desperately in need of money to fight the French, these traitors however turned around and stabbed us in the back.

If it wasn't for the fact that our golden age was still to come at that time, I'd be a little sour over it.

I hate to tell you this, but the women children and innocent civilians had nothing to do with them.

there's no point holding an area you can't use, we don't have to do badly to give up on countries, generally we jusst take countries that won't fight back too much like india, africa, and the US at the start of colinisation
