Lol guys I think OP has been misunderstood. We all like pretty girls:-P and if they can game then its a plus. Your best bet OP is to try find them at a local gamestore or on PS HOME if you own a PS3.
Comic/Anime/gaming conventions. School club, I know a mutual friend that pokes around clubs despite not attending that school to make friends there. Dating site. Lower your standards, the pool for hardcore gamer girls is small.

Iv only been to a couple more by chance than planning even that was a fair few years ago but there were plentiful female attendee's and there's plenty of room to meet them because that's why conventions exist!
Find yourself a convention, book a hotel room for the duration. Enjoy it. There's always events in the local area catering more towards people going to the convention like club nights and bar offers etc etc. Makes it very easy to keep yourself amused and meet people day and night.
I met a pretty emo/alt chick at London comic con and spent three days (and nights ;) )with her after have a ten minute conversation about why most UK horror films nearly always suck. Spent the rest of the afternoon walking around with her, we arranged to meet in the eve at one of the convention club nights...boom. Great long weekend.
You just have to be confident enough to do these things on your own.

She might have hobbies/interests of her own. But if gaming is really important to you then I suppose you'd at least want someone that doesn't look down upon it and allows you to have your gaming time.

He never said she had to be a "hot chick". He said he wanted to learn where to find girls that have the same interest as him. That's not a bad question to ask...
Video game conventions, comic book conventions, video game stores like Gamestop, cosplay conventions, dating sites, and dating sites for gamers which can be found by a few very easy Google searches.
From personal experience, I've noticed that if you at least befriend one girl that likes pop-culture, whatever their interest may be, she'll surround herself with friends that have similar interests, so befriend her friends and soon you'll be hearing Zelda "you've found a treasure" noises everywhere.
Locations- depends how skilled you are in talking with the beasts..but a couple are universities and stores such as hot-topic or Spencers,

Pretty much this. Most girls I know are games in one form or another (no, not FB/mobile gamers). Granted, not all of them have a 500 game collection or spend 40 hours a week with a controller in their hands but most people up to their 30's (and plenty after it) nowadays game.
Try to find a barcade. Its basically a nickel arcade with beer. So it is 21 and over. They're rare, but if you have one downtown or whatever check it out.
gaming is a hobby like so many other things. Plenty of girls out there with that hobby. Issue is however that just like men, women rarely Wear thier hobbies on thier sleeves (just as thankfully the fewest Guys walk around with a "PS" shirt or cap (which is usually just pathetic).
Just like most people they do not want to be judged or hit on by thier hobby. If studies are to be believed around every third female you meet should be gaming ;) But yeah hang out where people DO engage with the hobby you you will likely find some.
Word of warning though, that they have an interrest in games does not mean they want to hang around all day playing games.

Me neither. Average at best (some I would actually date if that was possible), but hot? nope never saw that in my life.
Conventions and the bar scene after those conventions would be your best bet. Nothing else would offer the quantity of woman in the various geek subcultures, up on a platter as much as those conventions. Just have to not be a slob or creep, and show some confidence and there is a good chance you'll get a date out of it if.
Was going to link to a STUart edge video where he goes to comic con and asks to make a call on a girls phone as his is dead. Then proceeds to call her mother or father to ask them how to ask their daughter on a date. Now that's how you get shit done. But the video has been taken down. Seems he doesn't keep anything up past a year which is fucking stupid.
