Although I don't think it is a good idea to be so strongly sure about something to forget about everything else. After all, shouldn't our 'god given' intelligence be used to understand more and not less?

Also, to the guy who was defending Scientology: You sound like you're completely ignorant about that "religon". Infact one really shouldn't call it a religon, and instead just call it a huge scam. Scientology ruins people's lives. They ask for huge amounts of money for thier "mental health services", which have been prooven to do absolutely nothing. If someone tries to leave the "church", they are harrassed, terrorized, and threatened with legal action.

The whole science-fiction part of the relgion is true as well. When a former member sued these people back in the early 90s the court forced them to make public, documents that showed that upper level scientologists were shown the "truth". This "truth" is basically that all mental health problems are created alien souls infesting human bodies. Anyone who wants to read up more on them should go here: http://xenu.net/

Also, let's not forget that Scientology was born the day Ron Hubbard said to Isaac Asimov (I believe it was Asimov, not sure anymore...it was a famous SF writer): "I'm going to invent a religion that will get me rich in no time."

Atheism isn't a religion.

I follow none, if there's a god, I don't think he, she or it would make all kinds of crazy rules, but judge you on whether you were a good person.
