Not a huge fan of any of them. I would say Return of the Jedi. Mostly for the cute little Ewoks.SunshaThis is cute?:P

Remember, in 1983 they didn't have the advanced cuteness effects that we have and enjoy today. This is cute?:P

But seriously though.A New Hope or Empire At War.

I enjoyed Empire at War. It was a videogame that you could play, unlike long parts of the prequels, which were videogames you couldn't play.
I loved generarions :(

I'm not sure how to respond to that.
It's only watchable if you're drunk.[QUOTE="Jandurin"]i liked the holiday special :(mitu123
I've watched the first ten minutes or so of it. That's all I could stomach. Someday I'll watch the whole thing. I've made it through Uwe Boll and Hector Enchavarria films; I can make it through the Holiday Special.

As long as you don't but Episodes 1 and 2 in the same league as 3-6, I'm fine with that.I do enjoy KOTOR for the story a lot.
anyone who likes books and revenge sith should read the book. its way better than the movie and perhaps one of the best star wars novelsIt's a toss up between Revenge of the Sith and The Empire Strikes Back. Both are incredible. My least favorite is Attack of the Clones.

I love books.
I think objectively Empire is the pinnacle of the saga, but personally I prefer ANH. Then V, VI, III, II, and I. The original has a feeling of wonder and mystery the others lack. I mostly enjoyed Luke's journey from boy to man, a time of discovery. All of the others didn't have it.

The prequels aren't that bad. The only reason the original trilogy is tolerated...

"Tolerated"? If you don't want your fantasies disturbed, I suggest not reading this thread.
Yes, tolerated. The dialogue in them is a horrid as it gets. Most people don't notice it though due to the nostalgia associated with the trilogy. They would be laughed as much as the prequels if they were released during today's cinema scene. The prequels were only trying to imitate the the originals. That's why they can be so cringe-worthy at times.

The dialog in the prequels are on another level of badness, sometimes they don't make sense. The originals may not be perfect but at least we don't have quotes like "Now this is podracing." and ""I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere."[QUOTE="KH-mixerX"]

No matter what, all six films had horrible dialogue. The prequels were just trying to stay consistent. And in my opinion, they did a pretty good job.

Yes, there are far worse, but those were examples. But come on, the sand quote don't make sense, and the podracing joke is laughably bad.Yes, tolerated. The dialogue in them is a horrid as it gets. So...you mean tolerated by you? I see nitpicks here, nothing that would detract from Star Wars being the still most beloved trilogies of all time, even by modern audiences. Most people do not "tolerate" Star Wars; your statement is a canard.
I've always liked Jedi the most.JustPlainLucas
Yeah I did enjoy Jedi too, mainly because of the AT-ST and Speeder Bikes (I so wanted one of them as a kid), although my liking is a little attenuated by those s*** little furry oompa loompas (and the loss of Boba - Noooooooooooo!).
