I saw it Saturday night, but only because we were too late for the last Wall-E showing. It had a few quality action scenes, but the film was poor overall.
I thought Lucas said Revenge of the Sith would be the last one. Why's he off approving stuff like this now for theatres? Does that mean we can expect to see further Star Wars films after all?

Although imdb ratings are usually lower, I woudn't call a low 6 "quite good". There are like 240 films with a 8.0 or higher though.

I hope so. and i don't want to see anymore of these bad CGI movies. as to what exactly the new Star Wars movies would be about that still remains a mystery.

I saw it, and regardless of what others say, the action scene's were pretty cool. However, other than that, the story was really bad, and it wasn't all that good.
Go buy all of the previous Star Wars Episodes if you havent seen them. You may notice the excellent acting, action sequences, and a incredible storyline with many undertones from ancient Rome. Now this new movie...This Computer Graphics Animation...Are you serious? Why would they decide to make the prequel story to Star Wars, some cheesy animated film without any real and interesting story? I would rather see the Star Wars series die than be butchered like this.

No....but who cares...this movie was made for SW fans...not the drooling masses who clammor to see things like Epic Movie and Spiderman 3.....Is Clone Wars on the level of Last King of Scotland or Dark Knight? No.....its a pure summer blockbuster designed to do 1 thing...suck you from your dull lives for 2 hours and thats all....You all saw the previews...if you went then complained even more about the animation then you all need to stock up on watermelons and bagels because you will be single for a VERY long time.
Because it was an awful movie go and watch it. I'm so pissed they made in animated why would they do that. Make it real color and the movie between 3 and 4.

Did anyone read this? Why would you expect a TV show to have animation like the Incredibles. And of course it didn't have the greatest plot, but it is basically the opening episode of the TV show. I would say that it was pretty good considering what it is...

When I first heard of the movie I thought they were just milking the franchise for all it was worth, and I guess I was right. I haven't seen a good review for it.

Actually they are making a TV show with real actors as well. I think it will be starting sometime next year.

Only guys like us would appreciate a KOTOR-like storyline. Everyone else would be lost. Most people haqve no idea how huge the Star Wars universe really is.
Anybody remember KOTOR? Why don't they have Bioware just write the script? And use real people and have someone from Dark Knight do the casting?battlefront23
KOTOR's story wasn't that great The main reason people remember it so fondly was because of the twist toward the end (which waspretty cool). Aside from that, though, the story was pretty basic. KOTOR 2 had a much better story.

The story of KOTOR 2 wasn't that great IMO. Everything about KOTOR's 1 story was typical yes, but so is Mass Effect's and well... in my mind, Mass Effect was the greatest story video game of 2007.
