Just having a few drinks while laundry finishes after another long day, then off to bed to do it again tomorrow. I'm not off until Friday.

@zeroyaoi: Anything really, from RPGs to VN. I only bought a 3DS for pokemon, but I've been enjoying it and bought animal crossing. I just need a couple more games for it.

Do you own a Wii U? As of late August, I would have gotten mine a year ago.

Speaking of consoles, haven't you had to go through multiple PS3's? How is your current one? PS3 is currently my most played console.

Bravely Default, Etrian Odyssey games, Rune Factory games, Tales of the Abyss, A link between worlds, Zero Escape, Tomodachi Life, DKCR, Conception 2 are some of the games that come to mind.

I'm looking forward to Azure Striker Gunvolt. It's the same team that developed the Rockman Zero, and ZX series.

I'm on ps3 number 6, so yep. My slim one is great. I find it to be much better than the fat model.

@zeroyaoi: Not really, I don't often drink at home. Social drinking is more my thing.

@shadowchronicle: Not too much actually, I haven't delved into the genre as deep. I've played Narcissu, Oreimo Portable, and currently playing Katawa Shoujo.

I hope you were not prompted to buy all those. That sort of defeats the purpose of video game console attraction rather than PC upgrading (read: longevity).

The fat ones are heat boxes, heat eventually causes the gpu to stop working correctly.

Sony warranty is non existent. 4 out the 5 that YLOD, all did so in under a year. A call to sony, and sony said it would cost me $250 for them to repair it. I could add $150 to that $250 and buy a new one. So it was pointless.
Good thing the slims are $250. I got mine on a really good local deal. 3 controllers, the console, 5 games and two hdmi cords for $175. The console was less than 2 weeks old.

wtf no one told me you get 48 GB on dropbox if you get a Samsung Galaxy phone. I actually needed that for work lol.

Really? I've had the same fat PS3 since 2009, and it still works fine. Not to mention, it's my most played console. I had the option to get the slim one, but for some reason, I didn't.

Perhaps bad luck. But heat is a issue with the fat ps3. Maybe I was unlucky. My is running fine, so I'm happy.
But I'll soon have a ps4. :P

Looks like you quoted me before I edited my post to add that it's also my most played console. But I'll keep note of that, and be careful not to have my PS3 on for too long. As for PS4, I'm still not sure when I'm getting that, but I plan to sometime. At least I do have a Wii U.

Ah I see. Sorry. You can keep it on, just make sure there is some air getting to it like a fan, or the room isn't too hot. If you can do that, or what you been, I don't see why it won't last awhile longer with no troubles.
I may change my mind on it. But only way I'd be buying one is through a deal from a friend, otherwise I'd wait. I have a Wii U aswell.

@zeroyaoi: Nice. I have all those consoles too. By the way, I ordered the Looney Tunes Golden Collection 3 the other day from Amazon, and it has already arrived here. I also ordered Golden Collection 2, but that hasn't arrived yet. And I still plan to get Platinum Collection 3 too.

@kitty: Well, I always have a fan or air conditioner running my room when I'm in there, since it gets pretty hot in there without them. I'm still not going to risk keeping my PS3 on for a long time though.

The most recent PlayStation 3 models are definitely the ideal choice when longevity is a purchasing concern. I got a 120 GB Slim PS3 in late 2012 and it has served me well thus far.

The ps2 was the system that gave me the most trouble.

Soon, the disc version of Ultra Street Fighter IV will be available for pick up.

Alright. Aside from costume packs, it comes with all the characters of the previous versions of Street Fighter IV. The gameplay is updated through rebalancing and new mechanics which is why it is a separate game, altogether. However, the basic mechanics of SF IV remain the core gameplay.
