Phineas and Ferb VS. SpongeBob Squarepants..BATTLE!!

Which is the better cartoon? They're both hilarious and awesome. I'm gonna say Phineas and Ferb just because it's newer and fresher but you have to acknowledge and respect the longevity of SpongeBob. 10 years and still going strong.

I've never seen Phineas and Ferb, though from what I have seen from the commercials of it, it looks like something I wouldn't enjoy. It doesn't really help that it's on the Disney Channel either. *shudders*

Spongebob, though, is just plain awesome, or the older episodes were anyways. The more recent episodes are just completely stupid and childish, instead of stupid and freakin' hilarious. :P

I like "The Card" episode of SpongeBob where Patrick gets the trading card SpongeBob wants and SpongeBob tries to keep him from messing it up. That's one of my favorite recent episodes.

I actually like Spongebob. Nothing about Phineas and Ferb is refreshing or new to me and has been done in countless TV shows in the past 30 years. I cannot stand that show, especially since one of the title characters might as well not exist.

I'd much rather watch Flapjack or Chowder over either.

Spongebob has better animation; Phineas and Ferb has much better writing and funnier characters. I vote Phineas and Ferb.

edit: this is coming from someone who has seen virtually every spongebob episode and most of the phineas and ferb ones.

Doofensmirtz is simply one of the best characters in cartoons in years.

Spongebob. I didn't like any of the characters from Phineas and Ferb ( the elder sister bit annoys me too. Hasn't this already been done in Hey Arnold? ) and haven't really laughed in any episode. Although, I haven't seen the new Spongebob yet that people are mentioning.
