I find them both far far more entertaining and appealing to non-children. Also neither seem afraid to put in moments not intended solely for 7 year olds.

Phineas and Ferb for me, i watch it with my little sisters, and man Perry the Platupus, and Doofenshmirtz are awesome! Though, my favourite 90's show has to be Reboot, loved that as a kid.

I find the lack of a poll disturbing. I really like Phineas and Ferb, one of the few shows that are good on the Disney Channel. So they get my vote.

Eh... this thread is more than a year old.

Facts First: Dan Povenmire (the guy who created BOTH shows) made the first two seasons of spongebob, but then left to go make Phineas and Ferb. He even made the TV shows Simpsons and Family Guy. That's why you say the earlier versions of spongebob is better.

I think the newer Spongebob Episodes are terrible, and that Phineas and Ferb is better than them.

However the older Spongebob episodes are miles better than the newer episodes and Phineas and Ferb.

Phineas and Ferb and Spongebob are both the top 2 cartoons out for kids right now. If you like a show because its so dumb its funny, you probably would like the newer episodes of Spongebob. If you like a show because its surreal, but not stupid, and then of course still funny, Phineas and Ferb is your best bet. If your somewhere in between, you probably would like the older episodes of Spongebob. And to whoever says Phineas and Ferb is repetitive, it is. HOWEVER, Spongebob is too. Phineas and Ferb just relies more on their plot than Spongebob. Also, Phineas and Ferb is starting to catch up to Spongeob. They had a movie come out last summer which had more views than any Spongebob episode did since 2008.

I like Phineas and Ferb more because I have more brain cells when I finish watching an episode than Spongebob.
