obviously this wasn't over milk. The girl was most likely living in a terrible environment, from what i gather from the article. She's 13 and while she killed someone, i'm not sure how I feel about her being tried as an adult and sentenced to 60 years, spending her life in jail. Paladin_King

I felt the same way too when i read the article. The girl clearly need help. But I'm sure her guardians neglected to notice that there was the problem or that they were the problem until it was too late. For her to kill her grandmother's boyfriend so fast and cold, something must have happen to her before she tried to Kill him. I got the feeling that the guy had a vindictive personality (for getting rid of the milk when he knew she wanted it for her cereal). Who knows he might have been mentally abusive to the girl or even physical.

Why didn't she just go to her dad for milk? I'm sure he's got loads in his 'tube' :P

She wanted her milk first. Moon got the baby's milk first, and said that the girl could have what was left. The girl started cussing the dude out for giving her milk to the BABY, so then he poured the remaining milk down the drain to teach her a lesson.

At least that's how I read the story.

And even if I'm wrong, and he was a total ass, the girl still KILLED HIM OVER A LITTLE BIT OF MILK.
