If you were going to leave your son one piece of advice, what would you say?

Hypothetical, you're going somewhere far away for a long time, or maybe you're bedridden and you don't have much time left. You can only impart one piece of advice to your next of kin. What would you tell him or her?

I would probably tell my son/daughter that no one is going to give you success and prosperity; you have to earn it.

"Always wear a condom. You don't want to end up with a mistake like I did..."
