[QUOTE="Crushmaster"]

[QUOTE="BumFluff122"] A circle does not mean a sphere, If you stand in one place and look in every direction toward the horizon you form a circle with your view distance. The horizon is also rounded. They thought the earth was a flat circular object. BumFluff122

Circle...> O > sphere.

Everywhere you look at earth it looks like a circle...sides, top, and bottom. Yes, or no?
In Christ,
Crushmaster.

A circle is not a sphere. An O is a circle. Does that look like a sphere to you?

True, a circle is a sphere in 2 dimensions. However as humans we have 2 eyes and so have depth perception due to that we can tell the difference between a circle derived from a spere a simply a flat circle.

Next time dont give misleading titles to your topics.

Also thanks for providing us with our daily dosis of scripture which serves in absolutely nothing and....

....seeking salvation through works does not lead by definition to boasting. Time to change your views about humanity which are disheartening.

Through my interpretation, yes (I guess). I believe God as more of a governing force and that evolution has occured naturally, changing things from their origin to what they are now.

I apologize if this seems jumbled or contradictory. I am currently trying to figure out where I stand in terms of my faith, something which I have trying to work out for a while now.

I believe that your definition of evolution is wrong. Evolution:

development: a process in which something passes by degrees to a different stage (especially a more advanced or mature stage).

Are you attempting to say that people that don't believe in Jesus Christ are less advanced and/or mature?

Oh. I believe in my OWN evolution. Evolution: DEFINED. Allow me to educate thee: Once upon a time... it was a dark and stormy night... and a single cell organism called Splinter Single Cell, was created. It then turned into a human. The End.

No. I start up a topic, and since I and my Union has gained a reputation, it's about guaranteed to get activity. I thought the evolution line would be a good touch, especially since we're just getting back to evangelism.
In Christ,
Crushmaster.

But what is there to discuss? So you have your own belief in evolution. What does that have to do with OT or a discussion in general? Maybe you should change this topic to a "do you agree with my belief or disagree with me" type thread....

Indeed, the OP seemed to suggest that much, especially given his use of the term "evolution."

Yeah copy/pasting a response is not thinking for myself, but living your entire life according to some text is thinking for yourself? Come on now, I will admit it was quite lazy for me to copy/paste as opposed to searching for the scriptures and typing myself, but I have typed that crap out more than enough times. I would much rather expidite the entire process, as to not entirely waste my time when the response is always shrugged off just as it was today. It is well known that geocentricity was supported by Calvin and he used the Bible to support his claims, people were killed for heresy for claiming otherwise. Also how exactly is ONE response on some message board evidence of me "copy/pasting everything in the bible as an automatic answer"?
