Have you ever been threatened into doing something?

I was wondering if anybody has been seriously threatened into doing something by another person. It came to mind because i received a phone call last night from a female friend who was threatened by a man to do something.

So have any of you been threatened into doing something that you didn't want to do?

People can be threatened without doing anything at all to deserve it.

yea a local bully called Deebo kept picking on anybody, stealing our bikes and chains. But what really made me mad was him laying his hands on a women, so i knocked him the **** out

I have threatened and I have been threatened, it's part of interacting with human beings. The morality of the issue depends on the context though. I mean you can threaten someone to confess something or you will do it for them, in that case your not doing anything wrong (as long as it's your business to begin with). If you threaten someone with violence, however, that will always be wrong.

One of my parents threatened to bust the windows out of my car after I pissed them off. I had to leave the house for a week. -_-

No, but I did threaten someone into doing something. My class geek when I was in highschool 7 years ago, I told him I'm gonna kick him in head if he doesn't give me the anwers to the test we were taking at the time. And I would have too

Most people don't dare threaten me though I have given threats before. Although it is only to speed up the inevitable. Like instead of talking someone down I just threaten to rip em' a new one. Makes things go a whole lot quicker.

I didn't like one of them talking badly about my father so I got in their face about it. It was the culmination of years of tension.

When I was arrested for owning marijuana and my sister found out.This time still gives me creeps.

Let's see, where to begin...If I don't get straight A's, they'll kick me out of the house. If I don't get into an Ivy League school, they won't pay for college tuition.

If I don't mow the lawn, keep my room clean, vacuum, they threaten to kick my butt.

Typical Asian parents :P Thankfully, half of these threats just come out of their mouths, they don't follow through with them haha.
