I'm going to watch it today. Will update later.

EDIT:

Honestly the movie was all right imo. Except for this terrible CGI scene. Of course it didn't live up to the expectations. One of Eastwood's mediocre movies.

No spoilers but it's not one of Eastwood's better movies. Flags of our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima were much better war movies from the same director. Didn't really get why so many seem to hate the movie or love it, was really kind of meh about it myself.

I thought it was great! Cooper did an outstanding job in particular, and it makes me eager to see him in other movies. Just the whole overall package was enjoyable really. Don't get the hate at all. Its an anti-war film and shows how horrible war is. Its not overly patriotic at all and doesn't put down anyone non-terrorist.

Its a great film everyone needs to see.

I'll see it eventually, hopefully with gift cards because I'd rather not support a jingoist, mass-murdering, racist, white supremist like Chris Kyle with my money.

Wow. Stay classy, Aljosa.

lmao it's true. Read up on the man's life, he was a massive douchebag.

I own and read his book. I would serve along side the man any day of the week.

@Nengo_Flow: I can take from your remarks that you never served in the military. Could it be that you are jealous of those who did. Either way the folks who served in the military protect your right to say what you do.

I'll pass. Just more jingoist, propagandistic trash; only this particular garbage is loosely based on a scumbag's autobiography.

Killing terrorists is bad now?

Yes and it's racist because the terrorists are brown. If you love America and wants to kill some enemies of America than be politically correct and kill yourself some Russians instead.

No, Russians are the scariest type of White People.

Wouldn't be surprised if theworst supported russia's recent activities recently.

He seems to just automatically oppose the U.S. no matter what it does. I wish he would just leave.

Scary or not MSNBC isn't going to call you racist for killing them. I said it would be politically correct, I didn't say it would be easy.

@MakeMeaSammitch:

That is a sorry attitude to take. I just view MSNBC and Fox in the same way I view comedy central. Good entertainment but not for the easily offended. Though sometimes a good dose of anger from something you find offensive does wonders for the body and makes you feel alive.

One of my favorite movies of all time because of how extremely serious it was. Damn, it was glorious.
