I don't think she really meant it. It looks like she's just having fun how we say to our friends "Oh, I hate life." "Oh, I hate my brother." I watched the donut video and it shows how she saw how the donuts were huge and she started making jokes about America. But what so dumb about it is she ends up buying those huge unhealthy donuts.

I don't understand why rich celebrities stay in America when they can get a house wherever in the world with magnificent surroundings.

Though obesity and heart disease rates increase with industrialization, the majority of the world is still just getting by or are food insecure. On the flip side, the number of overweight and obese people exceeds one billion and now outnumber malnourished people. Being overweight is quickly becoming the norm in the Western world in general, and as developing countries industrialize, obesity rates will increase in those places as well.

Obviously we're talking about developed countries and not impoverished.

Canada's music scene is indeed terrible, the audacity they had to bring it over.

Well you said "the world", which encompasses the whole planet, not just developed countries. Unless you just meant to say "developed world" instead. And the developed world only has a small portion of the whole world's population, so it doesn't comprise most of the world.

She's not Canadian and she's actually a very strong "technical" vocalist (can sing Mariah Carey songs and can go into whistle tone, which is very difficult to do) but she doesn't do anything interesting with her talent. She's very cookie cutter.

Don't know why she should worry about her career tho; it's going pretty well for her.

She's one of the singers in that "Bang Bang" song that was popular for a while. Frankly, I thought she was the least interesting of the three. I don't care about her comments about America, but I don't like it when anyone is a dick to people who work in the service industry, especially if their entitlement comes from being famous.
