I honestly couldn't care less what she thinks about Americans. At the end of the day those fat Americans she hates so much are probably the same ones buying her music and going to her concerts.

But I think it is absolutely disgusting that she licked a donut that she didn't buy. Which means someone else got her nasty donut.

I had no idea who this was, so I assume that only 12 year olds know this person.

I like how her comments are getting much of the attention as opposed to the fact that she freaking licked donuts that she didn't buy. Everybody hates America; few, however, do so and lick donuts they don't buy.

When you become a celebrity, all eyes are on you. It's hard to live a private life. Now that we live in a generation of Smartphones, it makes it even harder for them to not get caught on camera. Basically, as a celebrity, you give up your private life to serve all those watchful eyes, and whatever stupid stuff you do in public (even licking one doughnut), the public will destroy you. She's 22 years old and should be acting her age, instead of acting like a 13 year old bimbo.

Edit: Also destroying a Celebrities career is needed in order to provide a successful corn harvest this year

Messing with food is serious business. Recently a chef was sentenced to 3 years for spitting in a roll that never even got served. I personally don't think they should be lenient on this issue either, you have to be a pretty shitty human to do anything to something someone is going to consume.

Totally agree. This got nothing to do with her being a celebrity or whatever. This is chiefly about the fact that someone, celebrity or not, messed with someone else's food and that's a grave crime the perpetrator of which must be penalized severely.

Relinquishing your right to a private life is a part of becoming a celebrity, or a certain kind of celebrity to be more specific. Celebrities of the kind feed on the attention they receive, and they heavily capitalize on it. In fact, when - for whatever reason - that attention abates, they'll commit follies and blunders with the intention of harvesting the attention that inevitably ensues.

There are, on the other hand, celebrities who choose to retain that right to a private life and believe it or not they succeed, for the most part. Of course they lose much of that voyeuristic attention, which they either make up for through sheer talent or simply do without it.

I'm sorry if I missed it but did she lie or something? Is she spinning tall western's or did she just hand out a reality check? Some people can't handle the truth about themselves. If you are a fat american then what else are you exactly? You could at least be a proud fat american and not get all sensitive and cry about it. Let's say what it really is, American's as a generalization are fat, greedy, anti-anything that isn't beneficial to themselves....basically we as a whole, are the root of the 7 deadly sins and if you don't commit to at least one of those sins, then you aren't American.

It was a stupid thing for her to say, but I don't think she really means it, and I'm fairly certain she is American. It's kind of weird though that in the United States there are some people who complain so much about fat people and obesity and others who complain about fat shaming and assert that people (especially women) deserve to feel comfortable in their own body and shouldn't be judged based on their looks, and this dispute doesn't really fall along the normal conservative/liberal, Democrat/Republican bifurcation, in fact it seems like the people who complain most on either side of that debate are leftists.

Also maybe Meghan Trainor should whup Grande's skinny-little butt.
